We-he-hell, shit on me backwards and call me a neon banana! Welcome, perverts, pervettes and everything between and beyond whether anti- or pro-pronoun, to the Our Gloriously Random Universe Edition! As you may have (likely not cared to) guess, this will be another one of those non-genre-specific editions where I fuckin’ pontificate for way too fucking long in the intro, and then play a bunch of seemingly random shit with which you jive-ass honkies can only moderately vibe. To be perfectly frank, even though that’s not my fuckin’ name and never will be, these editions are some of my favorite to make because they represent my listening habits far more accurately than any of the ones with particular themes. Why?
Well, whereas many allow mood to determine the music they listen to, I more often let the music dictate my mood. There are plenty of times when I do the former, but I try hard to not let myself get stuck in any one emotion for too long. Maybe part of the reason is that I used to listen to this one playlist I made called Kill Yourself quite a lot as I was dealing with all sorts of crippling depression, trying to untie my mental knots and such. It got to the point where I just got tired of hearing the same fuckin’ songs over and over and goddamn over again. The same lessons were learned over and over, same insight gained and regained, and eventually I did indeed untie those knots. Once I did though, once I got to a point of far greater clarity, I was able to put much of the negativity aside in favor of my damn near ceaseless curiosity. That enabled me to branch out, to explore with a clearer perspective, unobstructed by the same old excruciatingly mundane fuckin’ depression that had been stifling me for so many years.
These seemingly random editions are obviously not random at all. There are many different genres, of course, but they’re all part of a path I chose for myself and any of you motherfuckers who’re awesome enough to join me on my little adventures here on this podcast. There is indeed method to my madness, which brings us to the name of this edition: Our Gloriously Random Universe. Randomness is something seldom found in human endeavors, yet it is most likely how our universe came into being, and how pretty much everything has happened since. At least, in my opinion.
Let’s put it this way: if this shit is somehow actually being consciously guided, watched over, or was simply just put into motion and left to fucking drift (which seems pretty unconscionable), then there’s a lot of extra fucking space out there for us to be thinking we’re somehow special. That, and considering our very existence is under constant threat from any number of celestial catastrophes due to our damn near total lack of preparation for such matters, not to mention our own fatally neglectful and destructive activities on this planet, the notion of purpose amidst such chaos seems quaint at best.
Conversely, we can create purpose for ourselves, despite any and all randomness. Don’t get me wrong, we definitely are special in that we’ve attained consciousness, indeed, but we shouldn’t be so blinded by that to the point where we ignore the boundless fucking mysteries about which we’ve barely even scratched the surface. We’re special in that we’ve established some sort of order in an otherwise utterly chaotic universe, and even though it’s all pitifully futile on a universal scale, it serves our civilization (such as it is) well to maintain the order (to varying degrees, anyway).
I also definitely think it’s a cop out to end all cop outs to discredit ourselves for the progress we’ve made, not to mention the astounding fucking leaps in technological development, and the immeasurable beauty within each and every one of our imaginations. I think that if there actually was/is a consciousness out there, they would applaud us for using our brains in such myriad ways, and not squander such unfathomable qualities as omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, etc. on silly little creatures like us satiating their ego with nauseatingly repetitive worship.
But hey, what the fuck do I know, right? Maybe I’m wrong and I’m gonna burn in hell for all eternity for daring to question anything. Ah well. At least I experienced true beauty during my life, and much like Sisyphus (minus the hubris, deceit and such), I can (and do) feel happiness despite the maddening absurdity of everyday life, especially in this country. In fact, I more often than not find ways to embrace absurdity, to learn and create from it, and that’s one of the reasons I continue to do this little fuckin’ podcast here.
Amusing, really. I’m happy because I was happy before, thus I know I’m capable of happiness, so struggles can come and go as they please in my knowledge that even the most seemingly interminable tediousness will indeed be temporary (even if I end up dead from or in the midst of one or several of them). I do what I can to navigate them efficiently, and since I nearly entirely doubt anyone will be subjected to a literally eternal struggle like damnation, like that under which Sisyphus suffered, I have no need whatsoever to concern myself.
*fucking sigh* I imagine all this has been a total mindfuck and a how-d’ya-do kiss goodnight on the pinkie toe, whatever the fuck that’s supposed to mean, but my point is simply this: embrace the randomness of the universe. Embrace the randomness, acknowledging how magnificently precious each and every moment truly is. Embrace absurdity as part of life, society, whatever, and that will help you cope with any feelings of futility you may have now or sometime in the future. “One must imagine Sisyphus happy,” right? Embrace doubt, because therein lies your license to explore! Embrace curiosity, because we only have this one lifetime to learn as much as possible, and leave some sort of legacy for whomever actually remembers us after we’re gone. Shit, this is starting to sound like a suicide note. I promise, promise, promise it’s not. I’m actually being genuinely positive, and I hope at least one of you motherfuckers appreciates it.
Oh! Oh oh oh oh oh! It’s also Festivus today, and I have some serious fucking airing of grievances to do, but I’m gonna save that shit for New Year’s. Who knows, though? Maybe I’ll feel differently next week. Know what though? Know what I won’t feel differently about? Know what I will consistently fuckin’ feel ’til my last fuckin’ breath?
Embrace. ze. yojne.

Monday Morning Aural Sex: 2019-12-16 (Liquid Makes Me Wet Edition Vol. 3)
Monday Dec 16, 2019
Monday Dec 16, 2019
Awww yeah, bitch! Liquid Makes Me Wet as a motherfucker… who’s wet because of well, liquid, but ESPECIALLY on monday mornings, and when I’m gettin’ aural sex too?! Daaaaamn, yo. Shit be wet as fuck over here, just like liquid itself, because liquid is both wet and can wet things, because some words are just so fuckin’ cool that they can be adjectives, verbs AND nouns, and still be spelled the same… because reasons. The English language is fucking dead anyway, so do you really give 43/64ths of a fuck or 567/928ths of a shit? I didn’t think so. Fuck that fuckin’ debate alto-fuckin’-gether, and EMOCLEEEEEWWWWW!
That is fuckin’ right! Emo-fuckin’-clew to the 3rd installment of the Liquid Makes Me Wet Edition of Monday Morning Aural Fuckin’ Sex! I figured 6 months was plenty of time to allow for a new installment without mass rioting, looting, economic catastrophe, etc. going down. You know, the usual stuff that happens when you perverts are dissatisfied with my decisions regarding this podcast.
I should mention though, and calm your fuckin’ chaotic-ass tits before you hear this, I did include a couple tracks from previous editions. I KNOW! I know, I’m always ranting ad fucking infinitum and ad fucking extreme nauseam about discovering new shit, expanding your horizons and want not, but these tracks have only been played a time or two before this. In my humble fuckin’ opinion, they fuckin’ deserved spots on this edition, so there they are and there you go. You’re fuckin’ welcome.
Also, much of this podcast was compiled by going back through the artists on the previous Liquid Makes Me Wet Edition and hitting Shuffle Play on their entire catalog so I could expand my knowledge on these motherfuckers. I’m not trying to be unadventurous in doing that as opposed to finding new artists; fucking nay! Verily I say unto you (or some Shakespearean shit like that), there are quite a few artists being played for the very first time on this podcast. I just also wanted to deepen both your and my (mostly my own, let’s be fuckin’ honest adults about this) appreciation for artists on whom I’m still scarcely conversant. Nothing wrong with that, and if you think there is, you can freely consume a satchel of Richards at your leisure, you cock-eyed fellow!
Couple things I want to mention before the gloriously inevitable yojnement:
1. I threw all these little bitches into Mixed In Key so that I could arrange them harmonically, and I’m absolutely fucking euphoric (haha, not really) to say that there are ZERO fucking inharmonic departures. Actually, I suppose it would be a harmonic departure, as an inharmonic departure is sort of a double negative that implies a return to harmony. Maybe I’m thinking too much about this. Maybe I’m too much. May-fucking-be, right?! Right.
2. Track 26 is by an artist named Woody (Giggity). No, not Woody Giggity; I’m referencing Family Guy, you fucktwit. Anyway, this artist named Woody… Holy fuck, what an unexpected adventure I had down that particular rabbit hole (Giggity again). You see, because Woody is (apparently) such a common artist name, Spotify has mistakenly clusterfucked together at least 7 or 8 different artists also named Woody into the same profile. YET! FUCKING YET, if you search for Woody, it comes at you hard. (Giggi-fuckin’-ty!) Sorry, I had to. I mean, try it sometime. Countless fuckin’ artists either named Woody (and that’s it), or Woody this, or Woody that, or Woody McFuckin’Woodenstein the 24th. Anyway, that one profile with the 7 or 8 different artists had Russian hip-hop, Brazilian hip-hop, American (as far as I could tell) hip-hop, Korean adult contemporary, Liquid Drum’n’Bass (fucking obviously), Rock, Country, House, Hard Techno… like, fuck! All that fuckin’ shit behind just one name! Granted, it’s too common a fuckin’ name, and artists ought to try to be as unique as possible, but fucking wow. Maybe I’m a total music nerd freak fuckhead idiot dorkface poophead, and I’m the only one amused by such shit, but fuck you if you don’t like it. I thought it was both amusing and interesting, so I shared.
3. The tracks called Zeros & Ones, and the placement of the track Unspoken before the track Questions are not fucking there by accident. Those things are kinda sorta fuckin’ significant to me, that is, if you’ve been paying at least a modicum of attention to my life and what I share on social media over the past decade or so. So yeah, yojne that shit good and hard for me. Or don’t. Go ahead and be a vaginacock. No explanation for that. Fucking live with it, bitch.
4. Lastly (and somewhat coincidentally), track 49 is a track called Meant to Be, and I almost didn’t include it simply because I fucking loooooooathe that phrase. If you want me to lose interest in some shit you’re saying, calling something, “meant to (or not meant to) be,” is a pretty fuckin’ direct route. That phrase implies determinism, which in turn implies moral irresponsibility (or, at least unaccountability) due to the non-existence of free will, and obviously (or, at least it should be), the existence of a conscious creator who set in motion such lovely events as your getting that promotion at your job, your finding your soulmate, and also the Holocaust, child rape and sex trafficking across the world, animal torture, systematic misery inflicted ceaselessly upon the bruised, broken and bleeding fucking backs of the destitute and just downright fucking innocent. You can’t fucking cherry pick when it comes to determinism like you silly fuckers do with your religious texts. Well, you can, because fuck me and my opinions, but you can’t do it around me and expect to hold my interest! So there! Take that! That’ll show ‘em! Anyway, yeah, it’s a great track regardless of my psychotic thoughts on the matter, so yojne the tits offa that one there.
5. Also lastly, because I clearly don’t know how, when, why, where or what to up the shut fuck, I am fucking EXHAUSTED right now. Like, eyelids pried open with toothpicks fuckin’ exhausted. I have had one of the longest fucking days in recent memory, and instead of submitting to sleep like any relatively fucking sane person might do, here I fucking am doing this podcast. I hope at least one of you perverted-ass ass-fuckers out there appreciates that to some degree.
AAAAAAND NOW, now that I can’t think of anything else to add, so I won’t…
We yojne!

Monday Morning Aural Sex: 2019-12-09 (Rap Vs. Hip-Hop Edition Vol. 5)
Monday Dec 09, 2019
Monday Dec 09, 2019
Eeeeeemmmmmooooooccccclllllleeeeewwwww srekcufrehtom to the 5th volume of the Rap vs. Hip-Hop Edition of Monday Fuckin’ Morning Fuckin’ Aural Fuckin’ Sex! All sorts of fuckin’ up in this bitch today, but (surprisingly) nut a (w)hole lot of oral sex abutt fucking! (Yes, if you’re reading this instead of (or in addition to) listening to it, all that was said in fucking context. You’re welcome.) It’s all good though, ‘cause there are 19 fucktacular artists making their debut appearances on this podcast this week, 12 of whom I only just discovered myself this week; unless you count all the guests too, in which case it’s actually more like 41. Also, I was adamant about not using any tracks from past Rap Vs. Hip-Hop editions, because I meant what I said in the intro to the Collection edition that I put out a few months ago. That collection was meant as a retrospective to further appreciate the discoveries going forward. I did, however, include a handful of tracks from previous non-Rap vs. Hip-Hop editions I did this year and from years before. There IS actually ONE, uno fuckin’ track from one of the previous Rap vs. Hip-Hop Editions, but I’llllll neeeeverrrr tellll… aaaannnd you won’t find ouuuuuuut, becaaaaause you don’t give a fuuuuuuck. Ah well.
Believe me, perverts, I know how tempting it is to listen to shit you already know and love. I do it all the fucking time, but there’s SO, SO fucking much cool shit out there! Don’t you ever go thinking fuckin’ otherwise. Doesn’t matter how extensive your knowledge of music is, you can always learn and find some new shit to love. Doesn’t just apply to music, either. No matter how much of an expert you might consider yourself, you can always improve. ‘Cause ya know, everybody’s a fuckin’ expert nowadays. Must be fuckin’ nice. I just watched an interesting video on Youtube about that, actually, and here’s the link if you’d like to check it out: https://youtu.be/y50i1bI2uN4 It’s about a thing called the Dunning-Kruger Effect, and it goes into why stupid people go around thinking they’re smart. I can certainly think of a few people like that. Sounds worthy of a couple minutes of your precious fuckin’ time, right? I thought so. You’re fuckin’ welcome.
So yeah, the question of rap versus hip-hop has been debated in bedrooms thick with weed smoke across the nation for decades now. According to KRS-One, “Rap is something you do. Hip-Hop is something you live.” The lyrics to Dead Prez’s song Hip-Hop are all about that distinction. Countless other artists have discussed their perspectives on the issue, no doubt. It seems like my long-standing perspective of hip-hop being more about poetry and rap more about mainstream stuff and bobbin’ your head is more commonly held than my friend’s perspective which is vice versa. Not that he’s wrong or anything, and besides, we’re only talking about arbitrary names people came up with to identify sounds. Sounds and symbols to identify other sounds and symbols. You ever thought about that shit? Hmm? The whole idea of language? Fuck, I’m digressing again. My bad.
Anyway, yeah, doesn’t mean one view is superior and/or the other inferior, right and wrong, etc.; they’re just different, and both rap and hip-hop have value in certain contexts. I would say that rap grew out of hip-hop when record labels saw the buzz around it, and rap became a mutated sort of hydra because of all the money injected into it. Even though the argument could be made that rap spawned from hip-hop, they’ve both themselves spawned countless sub-genres, and people all around the world (note that I said, “around,” the world, and not, “a-flat” the world. Sorry, not sorry, B.o.B. Shit, speaking of that motherfucker, who the fuck gets into a beef with an astrophysicist? How is that even a thing? I know beefing is a staple of rap (don’t see it too much in hip-hop, likely due to the more modest egos), but seriously? FUCK! THERE I GO DIGRESSING AGAIN! MY BAD!) have embraced and are producing both of those greater genres all the time.
I feel compelled to add that if you’re unfamiliar with or unwilling to delve into music from other countries simply because you can’t understand the lyrics, I really must ask you if lyrics are so paramount to you, because I honestly have never met anyone like that. I’m a writer/poet, which means that words have been my main creative medium for decades now, and even I don’t go around looking up ALL the lyrics to EVERY song. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I understand that. After all, it’s not like we all have pocket-sized, touch-screen computers on us all the time. You know, devices that are capable of accessing virtually all human knowledge spanning the entire timeline of recorded history or anything. Oh shit! Wait! We actually do. But that’s right, you get bored easily. You can’t get down with lyrics you don’t understand, because they’re impossible to translate, and they should’ve been speaking English anyway, right? The world should adjust to you and your life because you crave convenience like junkies crave their drug of choice, right? Totally reasonable in Cheeto’s America. Are we great again, by the way? Asking for a gay, black friend of mine.
You poor, poor souls. You hopelessly, mentally-poverty-stricken, bereft-, destitute- and bankrupt-ass mother-fuckin’-fuckers. I’ll pray for you, hehe.
The rest of you gloriously curious and perverted-ass motherfuckers? You know what goddamn time it is. Oh, you know. You don’t? Well, I’ma tell ya…

Monday Morning Aural Sex: 2019-12-02 (Tear Your Fuckin' Minds Open Edition)
Monday Dec 02, 2019
Monday Dec 02, 2019
That’s right, motherfuckers! Tear Your Fuckin’ Minds Open! Sounds painful, right? Well, I imagine it is for some. A crucial part of that process involves humility, you know, actually setting aside your Macy’s-Day-Parade-inflated-ass fuckin’ ego and realizing you maybe, perhaps, kind of, in a way or three don’t know everything about fuckin’ everything. My Mac’s dictionary defines humility as a modest or low view of one’s own importance; humbleness. Even though it’s not necessarily synonymous, I tend to associate humility with accountability and integrity. I think if a person is generally modest in regards to their importance, they’re far more likely to hold themselves accountable for their own shortcomings, especially in regards to their narrow horizons.
It’s your life, motherfuckers. I think there’s no better way to live than with a torn-the-fuck open mind, absorbing and experiencing as much as possible before it’s lights out for fuckin’ good! What, you think you’re gonna catch up on all the shit you keep putting off after you’re dead? You think, “Well fuck, as long as I’m at least somewhat of a good person, I’ll have eternity in the hereafter to read every book ever written, and watch all the TV shows and movies my friends keep raving about. Shit, and all those video games in my backlog? I’ll FINALLY have time to catch up! Man, and there’s so much music in the world. I wonder if I could do it all simultaneously as a metaphysical version of my lazy-ass self.”
Is that what you think? Heh, fuck no, of course. Maybe something close, but that shit was way too specific, and it came from MY BRAIN MEATS! NOT YOURS! MIIIIIIIIINNNNNEEEEE! YOU CAN’T HAVE!
Nah, you can, if you want. I know you don’t, but there ya fuckin’ go anyway. I’ll tell ya, motherfuckers, one of the greatest things about atheism is the fuckin’ URGENCY with which you live; at least, in the case(s) of those who aren’t merely atheistic due to despair, be it personal, societal or somehow discretely philosophical. Or fuck, maybe a blend of all of ‘em. The point is just that if you don’t believe in any sort of god, goD, God, gods, etc. and thus don’t believe in any sort of hereafter, that means you’re on board with the idea that, “you only live once. YOLO!” (Sorry, I had to. No, I didn’t. I felt like it. Fuck you.)
Fuck it, though. You don’t need to be an atheist to live with urgency; you just need to be fuckin’ alive! Can you imagine living with the urgency of a fuckin’ mayfly?! I had to Google, “shortest lifespan,” just to make this point. Mayflies live for a mere 24 hours! Some even live for less than that! Mayflies don’t have any fuckin’ time to fuck around! Actually, that’s probably the ONLY fuckin’ thing they fuckin’ have time for: fucking! I mean procreation, of course. Fuck though, can you imagine that as your life? You’re barely through with metamorphosis, and you’re just GO! GO! GO! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! All to preserve your species, functioning solely on instinct. You think mayflies have time to piss away on silly human issues like ours? I think fuckin’ not!
Anyway, I digress, often and greatly, but in acknowledgment of (or defiance of, if you wanna be that way) that atheistic reality (which seems pretty fuckin’ likely, in my opinion), you fucking OWE it to yourself to tear your fuckin’ minds open! You OWE it to yourself (and the rest of humanity probably wouldn’t mind it either) to have humility, accountability for your shortcomings, a sense of drastic fuckin’ URGENCY for your life, and thus, a rampant fuckin’ desire to explore, to discover, to experience, to communicate, to understand and to feel the full spectrum of human emotion while you have hearts and minds to fuckin’ do so! Like I’ve said before, and likely will say countless times more, live loudly, because your entire death will be silent. What legacy you leave behind is entirely up to you, motherfuckers. I’ve been building and refining mine for decades, and I suggest ALL of you perverts do the same, because none of us know when our time will be up.
As I said to a dear friend of mine recently, we always think we have plenty of time until one day, most often without our permission, it just fuckin’ runs out. Not that it’s particularly fuckin’ profound, but it does happen to be fuckin’ true, and common sense gets less fuckin’ common every goddamn day.
For now, right this very moment, we all have one most crucially important thing to do, and that is…

Monday Morning Aural Sex: 2019-11-25 (All-Star Series: Otep Edition)
Monday Nov 25, 2019
Monday Nov 25, 2019
Perverts, pervettes, fellow tribe warriors male, female and everything between and beyond, emo-fuckin’-clew to the very first installment of the All-Star Series of Monday Morning Aural Sex to feature a female artist. It’s been way too long fuckin’ comin’, and now we’re finally here. I’m talkin’ about the motherfuckin’ Otep Edition! To be perfectly frank, it doesn’t even feel right calling Otep something as simple as a, “female artist,” because I think of her as a fuckin’ force of nature. She’s a fuckin’ hurricane, and you’re all about to find out exactly what I mean.
This woman’s words will fuckin’ raze your soul and help you build it up 10 times better than before. This woman’s been through darkness that most of us will never even be capable of imagining, and for 20 years, despite encountering resistance in so many ways, she’s been releasing albums and touring the world with her band. She’s also an author, as you might expect from the sheer depth of her poetry. She has a total of 8 books available physically and digitally through a site called Lulu.com, and personally, I am inexcusably behind in my collection of her works. The ones I do have are as amazing as literally all the rest of her work, so I highly recommend checking them out. She’s also now on a website called Cameo where, for a modest fee, you can have her make a personalized video message for birthdays, encouragement, etc. She’s also a voice actress with credits such as The Last of Us, World of Warcraft, Days Gone and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.
Speaking of which, although you’re about to discover this for your damn selves, her voice is fucking phenomenal. Her hellish growls could strike terror in the coldest, blackest hearts of Nazis and Trumpublicans alike, and yet she’s also got soothing, melodic vocals to comfort the most afflicted amongst us all. She’s a proud activist for veganism, LGBT rights, and humanistic justice in general. She was even nominated by GLAAD for Outstanding Music Artist.
On a more personal note, this woman, this beast, this fuckin’ king has given me fire when my whole world was fucking ice. With her assistance, even though never directly, she helped me pick myself up out of countless graves in which I buried myself to escape from people who seemed to want nothing more than to facilitate my demise. One of my greatest hopes is that I can one day pay forward the gifts she gave me through my own art or even helping her create more of hers with my audio engineering skills. Full disclosure, she was one of my inspirations for this path I chose over a decade ago.
Anyway, enough of my fuckin’ jawing. Buckle the fuck up, perverts, ‘cause some of this podcast is goin’ dark as all fuck. I promise that there’s light at the end of it all, though.
Aaaand with that, we fuckin’ YOJNEEEEE!!!!

Monday Morning Aural Sex: 2019-11-18 (Chill The Fuck Out Edition Vol. 4)
Monday Nov 18, 2019
Monday Nov 18, 2019
Now we’re going to open the green door: the heart chakra. Imagine your pain as a white ball of healing light. It moves over your body, healing you. Now, keep this going, remember to breathe, and step forward through the backdoor of the room. Where does it lead? To your cave. Step forward into your cave. That’s right. You’re going deeper into your cave. You’re going to find your power animal. Sliiiiide, bitches. That’s right, I’m your power animal, and I’m emoclewing you now to volume 4 of the Chill the Fuck Out Edition of Monday Morning Aural Sex. I figured we were terribly overdue for a new one of these, and it makes a nice, stark contrast to the aggression in last week’s Punk as Fuck edition. Lemme tell ya, you motherfuckers are not even remotely prepared for the quality and quantity of magnificent fucktacularity I have in store for you this week. Shit, I surprised my damn self when I finished compiling it all and saw how long it would be.
This podcast, dearest perverts, is looooooong. I’m talkin’ like, chiiiiiiiillllllll thhhhhheeeeee fuuuuuuuccccckkkkkk oooooouuuuut for 5 fuckin’ hours and 43 fuckin’ minutes long. I’m fairly certain this is the longest podcast I’ve ever made, even surpassing my memorial editions for Sunny and my father. Speaking of which, my heart goes out today to my friends Paige and Veida who both recently suffered tragic losses. I’ve suffered plenty myself, and I strongly feel I would have completely lost my mind if not for the support of my nearest and dearest. As I said on a recent Facebook post, the pain of my loved ones is my pain as well, and you both know I’m here for you if you ever need to talk.
Now then, why the fuck is this fucking podcast so fucking long? Okay, simply put, I am too much. I really just go too fuckin’ far sometimes. I mean, that’s all relative, but I’ve had so many instances in my life where shitty and far, far too fucking common circumstances lead to me feeling like I wasn’t enough. I suppose the argument could be made that my rampant passion for various types of media is my way of compensating for all the residual feelings of inadequacy leftover from two decades of trauma and abuse, but even if that’s true, I happen to love both the absolute fuck and the everlasting shit out of my ceaseless explorations. We all have eternity to be silent and passionless once we pass from this plane of life to heaven, hell, Valhalla, Niflheim, the black beyond the Dream, etc. Whatever you believe in, the point remains valid.
To be clear, those two decades weren’t all bad. Not even I can claim to be THAT goth. I imagine few people who’ve ever lived can say accurately that every single second of two entire decades of their lives was completely fucking awful. What I can say is that I can still vividly recall all of those terrible experiences. I’ve often felt like my seemingly exceptional memory is more of a curse than a blessing. Those experiences shaped me in both good ways and bad, and one of the best ways seems to be my relentless pursuit of awesome new stuff (not to mention old stuff that’s new to me); not just music, mind you. My roommate suggested I split it up into two editions, which I certainly could have done. I really just felt like, of all my various podcasts, this type of edition especially was made to go on for a long time. Maybe even played in the background while you’re doing something else.
Of course, I don’t intend for anyone to listen to the entire thing in one sitting, unless you’re fucking welded to your couch after smokin’ some of that good-good or somethin’. That’s all you. Amusingly enough, I did try to trim it down, but only ended up deleting two tracks from the now 83 track long playlist ‘cause I felt like I’d perhaps played them too often. If you’re actually curious, I’ll tell you if you ask. Anyway, this podcast is comprised of a little over two hours of entirely new tracks, and all the rest are either one-offs or long-time favorites from past podcasts I’ve done. Know what’s most hilarious about it all? Even though it’s damn near 6 fucking hours long, this was me reining myself in. I could have gone on, and on, and on and fuckin’ on. I did something similar when another dear friend asked me to compile a Spotify playlist of my favorite Insane Clown Posse tracks, and I gave her 12 fucking hours worth.
I’m too fuckin’ much! What the fuck can I say? Well, I can and do say yojne quite often. I enjoy saying yojne, although I don’t yojne saying enjoy nearly as much. Strange how that works, huh?
Aaaand with that, we step out from our caves, and we commence, ze yojneeeeeee…

Monday Morning Aural Sex: 2019-11-11 (Punk as Fuck Edition Vol. 5)
Monday Nov 11, 2019
Monday Nov 11, 2019
What’s up, motherfuckers of the true punk and poseur persuasions?! As we all know, there really are only two types of people. Hah! Fuckin’ elitist cunts. Isn’t this fuckin’ joke of a country divisive enough as it is? Anyway, more on that in a bit. I have to humbly apologize for this coming to you later than usual. My schedule lately has been such that I’m actually getting to sleep sometime before dawn, so between working and all the other shit goin’ on in my world right now, I had to get some fuckin’ sleep. So I did, and that meant I could actually do this without being as fuckin’ exhausted as I usually am when I put this shit together for you perverts. Any-fuckin’-way, emo-fuckin’-clew to the 5th installment of the Punk as Fuck Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! So, clearly, this will be a podcast made up entirely of easy listening, pop country stadium jams, mumble rap, mind-numbing Xtian anthems and other such rambling, monotonous fuckin’ mediocrity.
…naaaahhhh.
This one is following my current trend of being pretty much entirely new tracks. Some of the tracks are long-time favorites, but most are new to both this podcast and to me. Especially this group I just discovered, the Sex Pistols. Apparently, they’re from the UK, and they’re anarchists or something. Wild, wacky shtuff. Also, I’ve got a thousand-acre fuckin’ salmon farm in Siberia I’d like to sell ya. Also also, some of these tracks might deviate from what you consider to be punk, but ya know, you’re just gonna have to put on your big boy/girl/non-binary-neon-unicorn panties and deal with it. If punk was/is ever about anything, it was/is about pushing boundaries. Pretty fuckin’ sad how it became one of the most rigidly and contentiously defined subgenres of music in history, at least as far as I know. Is punk dead? Is it not dead? That person’s a poseur! No they’re not!
WHO FUCKIN’ CARES, BITCH?! It’s music. Let people enjoy shit. As I’ve said countless times in the intros to these editions and others similar, if you encounter someone listening to something you consider to be a weak-ass, watered-down example of a genre that you love and know well, try expanding their fuckin’ horizons instead of heaping scorn on them. If someone’s only in it for the fashion, let them fuckin’ be. How does their vacant fuckin’ way of life affect yours? They’ll grow out of it like the fickle little cunts they are, and you’ll have your precious scene back aaaalllll to yourselves. Like I said earlier, this fuckin’ joke of a country is divisive enough without numerous subcultures duking it out amongst themselves and each other due to different instruments making different sounds in different ways, or different clothes looking different from other different clothes. It’s like a fuckin’ Nazi-esque search-and-ridicule endeavor for so-called purity in the scene. If you’re such a fucking profound authority, take it upon yourself to educate anyone you think might be receptive to it.
Just, ya know, don’t be a fuckin’ cock about it. It’s pretty much fuckin’ impossible to open someone’s mind if you insult them before attempting to do so. Anyway, I’m making a new edition of this series because I’ve been following politics pretty closely lately, and that fuckin’ shit always gets my blood boiling. Punk is great music for that, and same goes for hip-hop (or rap, depending on who you ask). That’s one thing I definitely appreciated about the Warped Tour festival, even though I really had a difficult time enjoying myself at the one I went to in the early 2000s.
All that said, fuck, let’s do this and fuckin’ yojne, eh?!

Monday Morning Aural Sex: 2019-11-04 (Neu Edition)
Monday Nov 04, 2019
Monday Nov 04, 2019
Nooo, not Northeastern University, not neuroglioblastoma cell line, not the influential German electronic group from the 70s either, and no, I didn’t fuckin’ misspell the English word, “new.” Can you fuckin’ imagine? I’d have to be waaaaay too fucked up beyond repair to actually misspell the intended name of one of my podcasts. No, this… is the Neu Edition! What does fuckin’, “neu,” mean? It means, “new,” but in German! Why did I choose such a fuckin’ obvious and one-word name for this edition? I don’t fuckin’ know. I didn’t feel like being clever or moderately insightful this week. Eat a dick if you don’t like it. Start your own fuckin’ podcast so you can do better than me, bitch.
Soooo, you’ve no doubt noticed by now that I’m coming to you once AGAIN un-robotized. I don’t know if/when I’ll return to the “robotic,” voice. Maybe if someone (almost anyone, I suppose) requests it, and I would guess that the chances are greater that Donald Trump will poke his head out of my asshole and say, “I knew I shoulda taken that left turn at Albuquerque.”
Anyway, back to why I named this edition, “Neu.” Well, this edition has allll new shit on it. Over 30 artists whose music I’d never even heard before this past week, along with some new discoveries from artists who I have played. Again, not tryin’ to brag, just tryin’ to demonstrate how fuckin’ easy it is to branch out with your fuckin’ tastes. How many times do I gotta fuckin’ say that shit, hmm? IT’S. FUCKIN’. EMBARASSING!
…Anyway, as far as why, “neu,” instead of simply, “new,” I just enjoy the different vowel sounds. I know, I can be pretty fuckin’ easily amused sometimes. Can’t we all? In case you haven’t noticed, I sometimes shake things up that don’t need to be shaken up just for the fucking sake of shaking things up.
Case in point, I sometimes say emoclew because at some point, I decided I was tired of saying, “welcome.” I’ve said, “doof,” when I got tired of saying food, and I’ve said, “yojne,” in the intro of just about every podcast I’ve done since 2012 or so, which (as only the most rockety of rocket scientists can decipher) is, “enjoy,” but BACKWARDSSSSS! I know, fucking mindgasm, right?
I don’t know, man. A lot of life can feel like the days blur together in a seamless fucking drag, even if you’re not depressed through it all. That’s likely why people clamor over the fuckin’ weekend all the time, aside from the fact they made shitty fuckin’ life decisions and ended up in a job they loathe (which, if I just described you, maybe try adjusting things a little or a lot so that you’re happier with your fuckin’ day-to-day). I say, go ahead and use backwards fuckin’ words. Shake things the fuck up, even if only a little bit. Why the fuck not? Who gives a fuck if people think you’re weird? It’s a fuckton better than trying to squeeze into whatever fuckin’ nimrod’s definition of normal could be. Teenage wisdom, I know, but it’s still fuckin’ valid. Plus, even though that revelation’s got fuckin’ cobwebs on it from how old it is, a lot of so-called adults could use a lesson or two on it. Probably live considerably more fulfilling fuckin’ lives.
That sounds like a good place to wrap it up, and no, I don’t mean use a condom. Fucking ew, and no, that doesn’t mean what you think it means. Just that I hate the utter lack of fucking sensation, literally. Makes fucking fucking pointless, pretty much. I’d much rather just get tested semi-regularly with someone I trust, which pphhhhh, fucking good luck with that one. Y’all go ahead and have yourselves a fuckin’ blasty blast; I’ll be over here holding my breath ’til I fuckin’ asphyxiate. But shit, I’ve been wrong plenty of times in my life, fuck. Maybe the universe will someday prove to me yet fucking again how full of shit I am.
Aww, see? Look at me and my fuckin’ feely-weelings. There I fuckin’ go, havin’ myself a grand ol’ fuckin’ pity party, and unwrapping shit when I said I’d wrap shit the fuck up. Cheese’n’Rice, self, go to H E double hockey sticks and shut the front door, because it. is time. to yojneeeeee!
…bitch.

Monday Morning Aural Sex: 2019-10-28 (Samheinning Edition)

Monday Oct 28, 2019
Mwahahahaha!!! Happy fuckin’ Halloween, perverts, pervettes, non-binary pervs and all that good shit! Welcome to the Samheinning Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! I certainly hope you understood the play on words there before hearing me pronounce the title in this intro. If not, no worries. I mispronounced Samhein as Sam-Hayn for the longest time because, fuck, apparently it’s not pronounced at ALL the way it looks. At least, not the way I grew up understanding English.
Aaaany-fuckin’-way, what will we be hearing this year?! Well, there are a handful of tracks from previous Halloween editions, previous editions in general, and a handful of new ones. Halloween always makes me a bit nostalgic, not least of all because I used to be able to have a lot more fun with it. I’ve just been out working for Halloween for the past two years, and in 2017 I had to work like a fuckin’ madman to put on a party that wasn’t even all I wanted it to be. I’m sure I’m the only one who was dissatisfied, not to mention the only one who ended up doubled over in pain, literally crawling around the kitchen floor trying to clean the house after everyone left. I have a tendency to go overboard with my parties as I do with so many other things in my life, but shit, I’d rather be too much than not enough. All too accustomed to the latter, but that’s another can of fuckin’ worms altogether.
That’s not what we’re here for anyway! We’re here to yojne, and yojne we fuckin’ shall! Hope you all have a happy, healthy, and at least moderately safe Halloween, and with that, let us ALL now perform the sacred ritual of YOJNEEEEE!!!

Monday Morning Aural Sex: 2019-10-21 (A Story Worth Telling Edition)

Monday Oct 21, 2019
Gninrom Doog, perverts, pervettes and everything between, beyond, backwards and fuckin’ upside-down! Emoclew to another installment of Monday Morning Aural Sex: A Story Worth Telling Edition. You’ll notice I’m coming to you once again un-robotized, because I guess some people out there like my voice or something. *shrugs* I dunno. Anyway, I’ll bet your nipples are just throbbing with antici-pation waiting for me to explain why I chose that title. Well, I would bet, but I’m fairly certain I’d lose, and I can’t imagine how one would bet on such a thing anyway.
I’m gonna sound like a weak-ass fuckin’ hippie here, but it does happen to be something in which I believe strongly: your life story should be one worth telling. I know, fucking thank you, Captain Obvious. Listen though, even if nobody ever fucking listens, you could still write it down and reflect in later years. Definitely your life story, but beyond that too. Love stories, crazy experiences, times your fuckin’ mind was blown by something you learned way too late or some shit; you get the idea. Don’t let yourself get slowly drained away in a mire of mediocrity, never exploring outside your comfort zone. Human life is literally too short to absorb and process all the fucking awesome shit that’s going on around you all the time, and yet, you somehow find time to be bored. Fucking how?!
Let me touch again on something I brought up on a previous edition: that article I read about people not seeking out new music past a certain age. I know as well as anyone how easily statistical data can be manipulated, falsified, etc. to support agendas and/or desired outcomes, but I can’t see anything to be gained for anyone from twisting those findings. My Fuck, even if you never listen to a single one of my podcasts, even if you hate literally every single fucking song I’ve ever played (which, wow, maybe relax a little), I really hope no one I know allows that shit to happen to themselves. It’s so fuckin’ easy to branch out and discover new musicians, artists, new films, video games, books, etc. and all it takes is just a little curiosity. In fact, this edition contains 18 fuckin’ artists I just discovered this week. Not even tryin’ to brag (‘cause fucking why?); I’m just tryin’ to let you know how easy it is.
That’s one aspect of the ubiquitous convenience provided to us via the digital age about which I’m very enthusiastic, indeed. I mean, fucking duh. I’ve only been sayin’ pretty much the same goddamn fuckin’ shit for 2 decades or so. Y’all motherfuckers don’t really think this podcast is my first foray into exploring and sharing music, do you? Shiiiiit, I’ve been making mixtapes since I was 5 or 6 and I was still rockin’ out to Vanilla Ice & Michael Jackson. Case in point, I’ve also always taken pride in confounding any who might criticize my so-called bad taste by balancing it with something they too enjoy. Anytime someone claimed something was bad, I looked for what they considered good and tried to see if it was actually they who had/have bad taste. I’ve often been disappointed by examinations like those, but whatever. Taste is subjective like so much else in life.
Anyway, I’m grateful beyond words to those who’ve actually listened to me, to you who’s listening to me now, even if it’s just myself. I love you, future me. Yojne as often as fucking possible, even ’til your last breath. No one knows when that’ll happen, so what the fuck are any of us waiting for?! Life is passing us by as we speak! Me, I hope I’ll use my last breath of my story to laugh. All that fuckin’ said, let us yojneeeeeeeeee!
