What’s up, perverts?! Getting sick of me yet? Haha, no doubt. Anyway, today we’ve got another awesome pair of albums to look forward to. One by an artist I know very little about named Machito and the other by an artist who I… also know very little about named Berry Weight. Even though I know very little about them, I do like the Machito album and I absolutely LOVE the Berry Weight album. I’ve tried many, many, MANY, fucking times to share the awesomeness that is Berry Weight, but to no avail. Seems like nobody gives a shit about them but me, but hopefully, someone out there will give the album a listen now and see what the fuck I’m talking about. I mean, if you’re not into trip-hop, then whatever. I’m way, way into it. Anyway, the first album is called Kenya, and it sounds like it’d make a good soundtrack to a spy movie from the 60s or Cowboy Bebop or something. Good shit, in my opinion. The Berry Weight album is called Music For Imaginary Movies. I found it randomly one day when I typed “trip-hop” into the search bar on Demonoid. Seriously, I listened to the entire album on repeat like, 10 times in a row. I forget what the fuck I was doing while it was on, but after that first time, I’d fallen in love. By far, my three favorite tracks are the ones with vocals: Equations, The Lotus and Sky Below. Sky Below always puts a lump in my throat, as it reminds me of loved ones who I can no longer embrace or talk with.*sigh* Anyway, here are the blogs I wrote about these albums: http://tinyurl.com/20150130blogMachitohttp://tinyurl.com/20150130blogBW01 Machito - Wild Jungle (from Kenya) [00:00:00]02 Machito - Congo Mulence (from Kenya) [00:02:45]03 Machito - Kenya (from Kenya) [00:05:40]04 Machito - Oyeme (from Kenya) [00:09:07]05 Machito - Holiday (from Kenya) [00:12:19]06 Machito - Cannonology (from Kenya) [00:15:07]07 Machito - Frenzy (from Kenya) [00:17:35]08 Machito - Blues A La Machito (from Kenya) [00:20:16]09 Machito - Conversation (from Kenya) [00:23:17]10 Machito - Tin Tin Deo (from Kenya) [00:26:13]11 Machito - Minor Rama (from Kenya) [00:29:07]12 Machito - Tururato (from Kenya) [00:32:09]13 Berry Weight - Yeti’s Lament (from Music For Imaginary Movies) [00:35:20]14 Berry Weight - Equations (feat. Hellllll yes! This is gonna be a good one. Today we've got Miles Davis' album, Birth of the Cool, and Henry Rollins spoken word album, Everything. Both are fantastic albums... if you dig jazz and spoken word, that is. If you don't, well, maybe you will someday.Fair warning, the words of Everything are liable to put you in a darker state of mind, as much of Henry Rollins' writing can do. If you're able to appreciate stuff like that and still retain your generally good mood, I think you're doing something right.Anyway, here are the blogs I wrote:http://tinyurl.com/20150129blogMDhttp://tinyurl.com/20150129blogHRYOJNE!01 Miles Davis - Move (from Birth of the Cool) [00:00:00]02 Miles Davis - Jeru (from Birth of the Cool) [00:02:31]03 Miles Davis - Moon Dreams (from Birth of the Cool) [00:05:43]04 Miles Davis - Venus De Milo (from Birth of the Cool) [00:09:01]05 Miles Davis - Budo (from Birth of the Cool) [00:12:12]06 Miles Davis - Deception (from Birth of the Cool) [00:14:44]07 Miles Davis - Godchild (from Birth of the Cool) [00:17:31]08 Miles Davis - Boplicity (from Birth of the Cool) [00:20:39]09 Miles Davis - Rocker (from Birth of the Cool) [00:23:37]10 Miles Davis - Israel (from Birth of the Cool) [00:26:42]11 Miles Davis - Rouge (from Birth of the Cool) [00:28:58]12 Miles Davis - Darn That Dream (from Birth of the Cool) [00:32:12]13 Henry Rollins - Track 1 (from Everything) [00:35:36]14 Henry Rollins - Track 2 (from Everything) [00:48:12]15 Henry Rollins - Track 3 (from Everything) [01:00:35]16 Henry Rollins - Track 4 (from Everything) [01:13:59]17 Henry Rollins - Track 5 (from Everything) [01:26:27]18 Henry Rollins - Track 6 (from Everything) [01:38:53]19 Henry Rollins - Track 7 (from Everything) [01:50:52]20 Henry Rollins - Track 8 (from Everything) [02:00:44]21 Henry Rollins - Track 9 (from Everything) [02:10:32]22 Henry Rollins - Track 10 (from Everything) [02:18:34]

Ok, I’ve reached the first few hurdles in my attempt to speed this up. First of all, I have a limited monthly upload capacity of 2.5 GBs on Podbean with my current subscription (which is $20 a month that I’ve been paying dutifully for the past three years simply because I fucking love sharing music with you perverts). I usually bounce my podcast at the highest quality available for the mp3 format (320 kbps), but this limited monthly upload capacity will either mean a noticeable reduction in audio quality, or I’ll only be able to post these 1,001 Albums posts sporadically. Seeing as I’m really trying to get through these two projects (the official and my own 1,001 Albums list), I think I’m going to opt for lower audio quality. Two reasons: 1. I want to keep this momentum, or at least, something close to it. 2. I doubt the majority of you perverts would care all that much, and if you actually did, I imagine you’d be able to listen beyond the poor audio quality to hear and appreciate the exquisite fucktacularity of the aural sex that’s penetrating your tight little earholes. Those of you especially perverted perverts would most likely be inclined to buy or download the album for the sake of higher quality. At least, that’s something I’d do. I can’t speak for anyone else. Truly, because almost no one speaks to me about this fuckin’ shit anyway, so I have no idea.Anyway, today we’ve got an artist named Sabu with an album called Palo Congo. I don’t particularly care for the album, but those of you more jaunty, upbeat perverts might dig it. Then, we have a metal band called iwrestledabearonce with It’s All Happening. I love this album because the music is complex, the vocalist is a beautiful beast, and they have a sense of humor (thus the name, haha). Ok, in an effort to expedite this project, I’m going to try to post one album from both lists once a day. I highly doubt I’ll be able to consistently devote that amount of time for very long, but I really don’t want to be going through these two lists at the current snail’s pace we’re at. I mentioned a week or two ago that at our current rate of one album from one list per week, it would take us 2,002 weeks, which is about 38 years. I don’t even know if I’ll fucking be alive that long, so yeah, we’ve gotta pick up the pace a bit. I know most of you (my Facebook friends, anyway) have busy lives, and you’ll probably overlook these posts, especially as they become more frequent. I never expected anyone anywhere to actually listen to my podcast when I started it. I just decided to do it and hope someone out there enjoyed it like I did, and still do. That’s basically where I’m at with this. The thing is, I’m not your average music fan. All you devoted perverts out there know this already. I’ve got enough music on my various HDDs to fully occupy 11 of the largest iPods on the market (160 GB). I could occupy even more if the files were all lossless, but I can scarcely imagine the number and capacity of HDDs I’d need to buy to accommodate such a collection. You might think I’m some sort of digital hoarder. Maybe, but I prefer to think of myself as an extraordinarily avid music enthusiast. I know the effort that goes into writing, recording, editing, mixing and mastering music. I was thoroughly trained in each step of the process, and because of that, I have a considerably greater appreciation of music as a medium for creative expression.Even if certain styles of music don’t speak to me, I’m able to recognize and respect the effort that goes into each song I hear. Unfortunately, while most people in my life have claimed (and do claim) to thoroughly enjoy various music, I have seldom ever felt a true kinship to their experience of even their absolute favorite songs. Maybe I’m somehow deficient in my perception, maybe I’m unable due to inadequate verbal description. Whatever the case may be, I often feel very alone in my particular experience of music. It seems sad, but I’m not sad about it. I certainly could choose to be sad about it, to wallow and such, but I’d rather keep doing projects like these where I try to share my enthusiasm and hope to spark the same in one (or some) of you.Any-fucking-way, I hadn’t intended on writing so much about this, but I guess shit happens. Today, we’ll be hearing an album by jazz legend Thelonious Monk called Brilliant Corners, and an album by the experimental (and, in my opinion, marvelously imaginative) electronic music producer BT called This Binary Universe. Both albums are going to be fantastic soundtracks for the snowy weather (if you live in or around Jersey like me). This Binary Universe is especially near and dear to my heart for a number of reasons. Here are the blogs I wrote about these albums: http://tinyurl.com/20150127blogTM http://tinyurl.com/20150127blogBTWithout any further ado, let us commence yojne time, incredibly!01 Thelonious Monk - Brilliant Corners (from Brilliant Corners) [00:00:00]02 Thelonious Monk - Ba-lue Bolivar Ba-lues-are (from Brilliant Corners) [00:07:41]03 Thelonious Monk - Pannonica (from Brilliant Corners) [00:20:45]04 Thelonious Monk - I Surrender, Dear (from Brilliant Corners) [00:29:30]05 Thelonious Monk - Bemsha Swing (from Brilliant Corners) [00:34:53]06 BT - All That Makes Us Human Continues (from This Binary Universe) [00:42:32]07 BT - Dynamic Symmetry (from This Binary Universe) [00:50:39]08 BT - The Internal Locus (from This Binary Universe) [01:01:47]09 BT - 1.618 (from This Binary Universe) [01:12:04]10 BT - See You On The Other Side (from This Binary Universe) [01:23:28]11 BT - The Anti-kythera Mechanism (from This Binary Universe) [01:37:45]12 BT - Good Morning Kaia (from This Binary Universe) [01:47:42]

Well, a jolly how-d’ya-do and good evening, perverts! Welcome to another installment of Monday WTF Aural Sex, and another entry in my personal 1,001 Albums list. This week, we’ll be hearing an album called Revolutionary Vol. 2 by the legendary, underground hip-hop artist: Immortal Technique. This is a fuckin’ monster of an album. I first heard this guy when he performed at Rock The Bells in 2007 at some point in the early afternoon. They had him on the main stage, but I imagine most people who went to that particular show were there for Wu-Tang Clan and Rage Against The Machine, who were headlining. Anyway, I caught his set, and I thought he had some really brutal lyrics, and a voice that just demanded respect. After that set, I went and bought a copy of this album from his merch booth, and from then on, I was a HUGE fan.
Immortal Technique had/has a style that I’d always wanted to hear more of in hip-hop, but really just didn’t until him. Anyone familiar with his underground hit, “Dance With The Devil,” can guess what the fuck I’m talking about. If you'd like to read the blog I wrote about this album, click here: http://tinyurl.com/20150126blog Anyway, enough fuckin’ yammering. Bring on the muthafuckin’ yojne!

Alright goddamit… It seems pretty clear that I have some sort of mental block against actually getting these fucking podcasts out on Monday Morning. Either that, or Mondays are just always occupied by various shit. I used to put this out in the morning so people would have something to make the beginning of their work weeks suck a little less, but frankly, since I haven’t dealt with that in over half a year, and I’ve never had anyone say, “Dude, your podcast totally made my Monday suck a whole lot less,” my motivation to release these in the mornings has waned. Maybe I’ll get back to it, maybe I won’t. Until then, I’m just going to call it Monday Whenever-The-Fuck Aural Sex, or Monday WTF Aural Sex for short… -er, not by much. Any-fuckin’-way, this week we’ll be hearing an album that I’d be willing to bet money that almost no one on my friends list has heard of: Count Basie’s album, “The Complete Atomic Basie.”
Whether you’ve heard of it or not, I hope you’re willing to give it a listen. That’s how you most likely found out about 9/10ths of the music you love now anyway, so why the fuck not? I think the more music you love, the more you love music (or the other way around). Anyway, it’s a jazz album, and I looooove me some jazz. I had to grow up a bit to really appreciate it, but if you can manage it, I think you’ll all really dig it. Here’s the blog I wrote about the album: http://tinyurl.com/20150119blog
Now, hurry up and yojne before the fucking world ends, or you get trampled by a stampede of ostriches, or your asshole implodes and takes the rest of you with it… that would be pretty fucking awful.

Hahahahaha!!! Welcome, mother and father fuckin’ perverts, to the 8th album in my personal 1,001 albums list: Insane Clown Posse’s “The Great Milenko.” I know, some of you perverts aren’t into ICP, but for your own sake, I think you ought to give this one album a listen. This is the album that got them a lot of attention after it was yanked from record store shelves mere hours after it was released because some piece of shit Southern Baptists threatened to boycott Disney (who owned the record company Hollywood Records under which this album was released). Apparently, they’d had in-store signings and a national tour booked which was yanked from under their feet along with the album. Hollywood Records claimed their reviewing board had made an oversight in releasing their album, that ICP’s lyrics weren’t appropriate and other such transparent bullshit excuses. Can you even imagine how thoroughly they probably took the wind out of their sails by doing that? Well, due to the press that ICP received because of this issue, they had their contract bought out by Island and released it again. The original version of the song “Piggy Pie,” would still only see release on a later compilation, “Forgotten Freshness,” but at least it was released (because the original middle verse is entirely different and awesome). Any-fuckin’-way, we have that to look forward to. We have the XVth installment of MF, and we also have a blog right fuckin’ here behind this fuckin’ link: http://tinyurl.com/20150112blog
Now, we’ve reached the end of the intro. Can you guess what I’m about to say? Well, maybe you can, maybe you can’t. Maybe I just won’t say it and I’ll suddenly start the music like this.
