2021-11-15 (Enjoy Your Life Edition Vol. 2)

The up what is fuck, muckafuthas! Emo-goddamn-son-of-a-bitch-the-mother-cunting-cat-vomited-in-my-shoe-clew to the second volume of the Enjoy Your Life Edition of… um… a podcast, or something? I think it’s called Oral Monday Sex, or Morning Sex of Great Auraltacularity? Hmm, I’ll get back to you. Any-fuckin’-way, you may be wondering what in the eternal ostrich nipples could “Enjoy Your Life” be about. You may be wondering that, but I’m guessing you’re not. You’re probably wondering how long you’re going to fondle your balls or twiddle your labia after you finish your shift at the fucking cheese sandwich shop or some shit. Listen, I don’t know what sorts of fuckery you’re up to over there, I just do this podcast. No judgment.
So, back in mid-2014, I published a dual concept edition: Enjoy Your Life & Enjoy Your Death. Believe you me, I was leaning hard into the latter at that time. I won’t go into the vivid daily fantasies I was dealing with at the time, because fuck, that shit would get way too dark way too quick. Anyway, the former (Enjoy Your Life) was filled with all sorts of shit that actually put me in a great mood. Surely you can guess then what the Enjoy Your Death edition was like… Life certainly hasn’t been fuckin’ rainbows and big booty bitches lickin’ peanut butter off my coin purse since those editions were published, but I’ve found and created some fantastically joyful moments along the way. I don’t know if it’s some sort of survival instinct that kicks in during periods of intense darkness, but I’m generally good at finding silver linings around even the shittiest of shit clouds.
I’ve definitely had help with that along this often arduous road of life. There aren’t enough synonyms for gratitude, there aren’t enough words to combine into enough statements to adequately express my thanks to those who’ve helped me carry on through the years. I will say that they know who they are, though. I have no qualms reminding them how important they are to me, either. If there’s one thing I’ve learned through all my experiences, it’s that you really need to tell people how you feel about them while they’re here to hear it. Hardly a revelation, I know, but it’s important and bears repeating. If you have any interest in participating in this whole life thing, if you enjoy feeling good (and fuck, who doesn’t?), you should make others feel good whenever you can.
Anyway, the reason I’m making a second volume of this now is because… fuck, there’s so much to worry about these days. There are countless reasons to conjure up the most bitter venom within and unleash it in all directions; countless reasons to let darkness consume us altogether. There are also countless reasons to do the opposite. Sometimes we need to fight so hard just to find the faintest sliver of light, and this collection of music is a representation of my own fight to that end. My seemingly endless curiosity to discover awesome new music is one of the most precious inner flames (an inner-ferno, perhaps?) that I have left. I certainly don’t have many, but for whatever myriad reasons, that one’s still burning. That’s why I started making new editions of this podcast again back in 2019, and why I continue to even though I’m often exhausted beyond words from week to week.
Simply put, after four fucking paragraphs, this is music that makes me happy I’m still alive. I have stories behind almost every single one of these selections, and even though this edition is around 5 1/2 fuckin’ hours long, I could have kept going and going like the motherfuckin’ Energizer bunny up in this bitch. Future installments of this edition will surely be seen, because good lord was it fun as 10 fucks in a fuckin’ innertube made for one to compile it all. I actually had to scale it back a bit after realizing I was nearing 6 hours worth of tracks, ‘cause I’m pretty sure my longest single podcast is 5 hours and 40 minutes, and last time I tried bouncing a file longer than that, Pro Tools was like, “nah, bruh, try again.” That, for any especially curious little motherfuckers out there, was the 5th volume of the Psychopathic/MNE Family Edition, and I had to split that bitch in two, he-fuckin’-he.
Anyway, as I said, I have stories behind almost every single one of these tracks, but it’d take fucking hours to yammer on about ‘em all. I will make a special mention here about the two Ferry Corsten tracks from Blueprint and Blueprint Remixed. Those two tracks (Piece of You, and Wherever You Are) remind me of a very special someone who’s no longer with us. I included them in this Enjoy Your Life Edition because frankly, I enjoy my life doubly so because I knew her, because of the good memories we made. My passion for music, while largely originating from my own relentless curiosity, is also a way to honor her memory.
Shit, it’s also a way to honor my father’s memory. The song by Starship, We Built This City, it’s cheesy as fuck, but that was my very first favorite song. My dad played it for me on our way to preschool one day, and that was it. My dad’s literally the only person who ever asked me what the lyrics to my song Worlds Burn Alive were about, and even though I’d venture to say I always enjoyed music to a greater degree than him, he was a highly-educated professional musician. He collected CDs just as I did, and he accompanied me to all sorts of concerts far and wide between 1997-2008. I even painted his face for a Hallowicked show in Detroit back in ’04. I love my mom beyond words, but in many ways, I’m very much my father’s son.
So yeah, I say that if you have departed loved ones, you ought to strive even harder to enjoy your life. I know all too well how difficult that can be, but hopefully at least one of these tracks will bring a fuckin’ smile to your face. Me, I’m gonna be bouncin’ around my fuckin’ car like a goddamn pinball in a dryer listening to this edition, so maybe the image of that will further delight you as you listen to all this shit. Yet again, if you’re actually curious about any of those stories I have behind these tracks, you’re welcome to ask. I always love conversing about music; that’s pretty much why I started this fuckin’ podcast in the first place.
All that shit done did and said, um… fuck, wait, what was that shit we always do at the end of these comically long intros of mine? Is it, “enjoy?” Hmm… wait, yojne! That’s it, yojne. Fuck, how could I forget? Yeah, so, go ahead and yojne. Go for it, you multi-nippled toothpaste moose flower. YOOOOOJJJJNEEEEE!

2021-11-08 (Black Lives Matter Edition Vol. 4)
Monday Nov 08, 2021
Monday Nov 08, 2021
Fuckamuthas! Up what is the fuck?! Up your fuckin’ face sideways and out ya ass! Welcome to the 4th installment of the Black Lives Matter Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! “But Double-O, what for you make a Black Lives Matter edition when it’s barely mentioned in the news anymore?” Because, shit-dip, black lives do fuckin’ matter. What doesn’t matter (at least in this context) is whether it’s an election year, whether it’s being discussed in mainstream media outlets, even if police brutality suddenly fuckin’ vanished altogether… Good lord, what a fuckin’ dream, right? Even if we lived in a motherfuckin’ utopia where everyone’s basic needs were taken care of and we didn’t all need to squeeze ourselves through the miserable fuckin’ capitalist meat grinder to emerge as something valuable to the so-called free market, black lives would still matter.
These editions are not only for George Floyd, Jacob Blake, Breonna Taylor, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Philando Castile, Tamir Rice, Laquan McDonald, Elijah McClain, Ahmaud Arbery, Fanta Bility, Daunte Wright, Leden Boykins, Jamarion Robinson, Amadou Diallo, fuckin’ Rodney King, the list could go on and fuckin’ on. These editions exist precisely because that list could go on and on, because there’s a fucking list at all. That’s why the movement exists. If trash-ass human beings weren’t so fucking drawn to policing as a career to compensate for the power and/or authority they likely lack in their own pitiful fucking lives, maybe we wouldn’t need a movement at all. Maybe it would just be a bunch of scattered, barely publicized events. Either that, or the red-white-and-blue hellscape has shifted firmly into focus because everyone’s got a fuckin’ camera phone in their pockets now. Maybe that’s the biggest reason for the movement, because even though this shit has been going on for literal centuries, hundreds of goddamn years (probably even longer), now we’re all actually aware of what’s happening.
I guess one might say we “woke” up. I suppose one might say we’re like warriors fighting for social justice. To those who sit atop their white privilege mountains using those terms pejoratively, well, good for you. It must be so difficult sitting and criticizing people who are trying to affect positive change for not doing enough by your standards, whatever they may be. Or maybe it’s that you’re offended anyone would want to change the status quo at all? I dunno. You’re behaving like the elitist punks who call people poseurs. It’s one thing if you know for a fact that someone doesn’t practice what they preach, if they are in fact being disingenuous for clout or whatever-the-fuck. Fine then, call ‘em out, hold ‘em accountable for their action (or inaction).
But to dismiss an entire movement due to disingenuous people who claim solidarity, but only as far as the boundaries of social media? To dismiss real allies because purely performative, purely aesthetic gestures were made by so-called leaders who purchase their own power every few years? Seems pitifully short-sighted to me. Real allies are fighting with their wallets as often as they can, supporting small, black-owned businesses and progressive political candidates. Real allies are fighting to get seats at the tables where life and death decisions are being made behind closed doors, far from the public eye. Real allies don’t forget what’s important even when it’s no longer popular.
I consider myself a real ally, but we can all be doing more to be anti-racist. There are countless ways to do that, and if you somehow don’t know any of them, well boy do I have good news for you. Ya see, there’s this wild thing called the “internet,” where people go to… well, watch porn mostly, but also to obtain information! That’s right! You can obtain information about being anti-racist and then act accordingly. Don’t be a slacktivist! I post shit on social media too, but that’s not all I do. I just don’t post about it all because I’m not chasin’ fuckin’ clout. I don’t care about getting credit for the altruistic or activistic shit I do, ‘cause it’s not about me. And goddamn, what a profoundly pitiful way to live, thinkin’ activism only matters if someone’s watching you. Sad-ass motherfuckers.
Aaaaanyfuckin’way, perhaps we ought to actually get to le musique? Hmm? I honestly could have kept compiling tracks for this for hours and fuckin’ hours. Editions like these are easy as fuck for me to make because I’ve believed “Black Lives Matter” since long before the statement was branded into a movement. Always seemed like common fucking sense, but that shit’s less and less common these days. Anyway, whole fuckton of rap & hip-hop in this one. R&B, funk, soul, modern classical, dubstep, trap, colour bass, squeak-hop (trust me, it’s fuckin’ hilarious), punk, rock, blues, jazz, pop, and even fuckin’ breakcore. Yes, that’s right. The artist himself (Venetian Snares) isn’t black, but the track of his I included samples the phenomenal Billie Holiday in one of her most heart-wrenching performances, Gloomy Sunday. If you aren’t familiar with that song, good lord, don’t look into it if you’re seriously depressed and/or wrestling with suicidal ideation. Trigger fuckin’ warning, right here and now.
Most of these jams are leftovers from podcasts past, although there are two entirely new tracks in the mix. One is called Black Is Beautiful by a new artist discovery of mine called Chronixx, and the other is the origin for countless, seriously, countless fuckin’ tracks across the hip-hop and EDM spectrum. Which track might I be referring to? Why yes, you edumacated motherfucker! I’m talkin’ about Amen Brother by The Winstons! There’s a 6-second breakbeat section in the middle that has been sampled beyond belief by artists far and wide. There’s a short documentary on YouTube about it, actually. The sample is called the Amen Break, so look it up if you’re curious. Also, I’m fairly certain that The Winstons have never been adequately compensated for their small-yet-massive contribution to music overall, so at the very least, we can give it up to them on this little fuckin’ podcast.
Anyway, why only two new ones? Hey, sometimes classics need lovin’ too. Sometimes your ever-so-lovable host and podcaster needs a bit of a break from the literal hours of work it requires to bring new tracks to your eager fuckin’ ears. This has been one of those times. Besides, I’ve got easily hundreds of thousands of tracks in my personal digital library that even I haven’t listened to yet, so even if I don’t go through the rigmarole of rippin’ it from Spotify, it’s still new shit.
All that doo-doo done did d-and d-fuckin’ d-said, d-let d-us d-commence d-the d-yojne!

2021-11-01 (Send Newds Edition Vol. 10)
Monday Nov 01, 2021
Monday Nov 01, 2021
What in the ever-loving fuck is skyward, perverinos?! Emoclew to the 10th volume of the Send Newds Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! What are “newds?!” What the fuck are you even doing listening to this podcast if you don’t know that by now? Hmm?! Newds are new shit! New shit that I’ve discovered very recently. To be perfectly honest, we’re talkin’ like yesterday and the day before in most cases. Sometimes it’s older stuff that is only new to appearing on the podcast, but the vast majority of these editions are the former.
Any-fuckin’-way, I’ve got a few stuffs to say about things and the like:
1. I’m holding off on the potential revisitation of my old format of blocks & talk. One primary reason? I might actually get to sleep sometime before fucking noon if I skip that, so do me a favor and forgive me. Mmkay? I’m leaning in the direction of trying it again; if nothing else, it’ll be a nice little change of pace.
2. This podcast is just a gorilla’s areola hair over 3 hours long. Another delightful thing I’m skipping is going overboard with this shit for a week. 3 hours is entirely manageable, and my older editions used to be between an hour and a half to 2 or so, soooo… Anyway, trying to take a little better care of myself right now, because I need a better state of mind as soon as possible. Really feelin’ the Shadow track by Amigo the Devil. Fantastic track, by the way. You’ll know it when ya hear it. Once again thanks to my boy Al for introducing me to Amigo.
3. Some of these jams are ones I wish I could’ve put on last week’s Trick or Treat edition, but alas… It’s okay, Halloween was only just last night. I’m sure y’all got spoopy reserves left in ya enough to enjoy these tracks. Speaking of last week’s edition, did anyone catch any of the goofy bullshit I did in it? Those were the tricks. Fuck you, okay? How else am I s’posed to fuckin’ trick you in a podcast? Anyway, I enjoyed myself, even though I was traversing new realms of exhaustion in the process of making it.
4. Let’s discuss notable specifics: The Clock by STUBBVRN & Capturez? That’s a track I found through an ad on Instagram. I’ve actually discovered a number of fantastic tracks that way, so I guess the algorithm isn’t 100% evil. Shout to my girl Mandy for Kælan Mikla. Seems I found another awesome song of theirs, so thank you for introducing me to them. The ICP and Twiztid tracks are all brand-spankin’-that-sweet-anus new. I’m a bit scared to hear ICP’s new album Yum Yum Bedlam. I like this Wretched track, but the Yum Yum’s Lure EP? Man… I just couldn’t hang. I really tried. I dunno, maybe it’ll grow on me? I hate sayin’ shit like that, ‘cause there’s no love lost for ICP in the wake of this beef bullshit, I’m just havin’ a harder time with the new shit. Guess you could say I’m gettin’ old, but then I’d say fuck you, bitch, I know. That ain’t it; things just hit my ear differently. Same’s true for everyone else, bt-fuckin’-w. Anyway, enough about that shit.
Jordan Suckley, tho? Uhh, yeah, apparently! Dude’s actually got some talent from what I can hear. What a fuckin’ name though, right? New Otto Von Schirach jam, Alien Culo! Hey, either you love Otto, or you’re incorrect. You have every right to be wrong, sweetie. Mount Westmore… is a new hip-hop supergroup? Um, it seems that way. Also need to gripe about somethin’ real quick… Apparently, Spotify sometimes puts clean versions of tracks in my Release Radar playlist. I’d be willing to bet that they do that to be “better safe than sorry…” Fucking christ, this is what we’re concerned with as we poison ourselves along with our own habitat? Humans are fuckin’ ridiculous. My favorite part of the Al Storm track Hitchcock? Well, all the COCK in it! What’s wrong with COCK? Doesn’t everyone enjoy plenty of COCK in their lives? Once again, humans are fuckin’ ridiculous. Sometimes that fact is more amusing than depressing. This has been one of those times.
Decided to include both the original and remixed versions of Omnia & Ira’s track, The Fusion. Why? Well, they’re both fuckin’ awesome, and you’ll hear what I mean if you have a brain in your stupid skull of vaginapoop. 1991? Well, I imagine it was a cool year. Pretty sure Super Nintendo came out around then. They also did a remix of Basement Jaxx’s Where’s Your Head At? that slaps you off your fuckin’ paddleboat and down a Mayan temple’s worth of stairs. Why was your paddleboat sitting at the top of a Mayan temple staircase? Shit, I dunno. That’s your fuckin’ problem. Yo, serious confession time… This t+pazolite track makes me want to slam my face repeatedly into a wall or some shit. Fuckin’ call me Pulpy afterwards, I don’t give a fuck, shit, damn or squirt of virgin hummingbird piss. That track might get you arrested for arson if you play it too loud. New Tokyo Machine jam? Why yes indeed, you curious little cuntybean! That’s… three of his songs I love so far? I think? He’s definitely got some great potential if that’s the case.
Also, Death Tour… I think I might be obsessed. Those motherfuckers? I think I’ve heard all but a handful of their tracks, and I fuckin’ love ‘em all. That is definitely rare. I really hope I can see those bastards live someday. Fuckin’ Aimee Mann makin’ a return? Shit, yeah, apparently! Haven’t played anything by her in I don’t even know how long. Gotta be in the right mood for her stuff sometimes, ya know? Same goes for Dashboard Confessional, which, holy fuck, if y’all ever catch me listening to Dashboard… sit me down and ask me what’s wrong. Jesus fuck, I can’t with some of his lyrics. Anyway, two new tracks featuring Tech N9ne and Snow Tha Product on the same track both times! That’s a collaboration that’s needed to happen for a long time now. Probably happened years ago, and I’m just a dipshit out of the know, but holy fuck… absolute fuckin’ fuego.
The Shaman track by Rameses B? If you enjoy tribal chanting in your EDM, I highly recommend Shango by Juno Reactor (well, Juno Reactor overall), Old Gods by Abraxis, and Infected Mushroom overall. Definitely got some psy-trance vibes from this track, so be sure to check that one out. The Alex M.O.R.P.H. remix of You Are Enough? First of all, You Are Enough is one of my favorite trance tracks ever made. Second, I have yet to hear anything Alex M.O.R.P.H. has done that I don’t enjoy, or yojne, depending on the time of day. Psychostick’s version of Ghostbusters? Holy fuck, what a hilarious ride. I’m actually sick to death of the original, so… very glad to hear this version that I loved.
Anyway, almost done here. Berried Alive is a fucking virtuoso, and y’all need to recognize immediately. DJ Rap? I’ve actually known and loved her since 1999 around when the Matrix came out. That’s right, I’m an old-ass motherfucker, and your mother had no complaints. Yo, Pussy Riot, tho?! Seriously, y’all need to give it the fuck up for Pussy Riot. You know they were tossed in prison in Russia for protesting Putin’s ties to the Russian Orthodox Church? Y’all motherfuckers know what happens to people who piss off Putin? If ya don’t know, look it up. Just sayin’, I would be fuckin’ terrified to be in a Russian jail for any such reason. Much, much respect to Pussy Riot.
5. That’s more than fuckin’ enough, I think. I know, I know, all that shit would have greater contextual significance if I mentioned it after we hear it in the podcast. Again, do me a favor and fuckin’ forgive me, will ya?
6. Jesus fuck with these fuckin’ numbered lists already… Let’s fuckin’ yojne already before

2021-10-25 (Trick or Treat Edition)
Monday Oct 25, 2021
Monday Oct 25, 2021
(insert obligatory maniacal laughter here) Happy fuckin’ Halloween, mother and father fuckers far and wide within the great red, white & blue pisspot! To any actually residing outside of said pisspot, I’m jealous as fuck for myriad reasons. Anyway, emoclewelcome to the Trick or Treat Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! Can ya fuckin’ believe I hadn’t yet made a Trick or Treat Edition? After 6 fuckin’ Halloween-themed editions? Sometimes my brain neglects to brain so I can thinkify more better. This edition will be a fun one. Well, they’re all fun to me, but this will be extra fun.
In addition to all the magnificent treats we have in store for us, we also have some tricks. What might those be, you so eagerly inquire? Oh, you’ll see. What fun would it be spoiling the surprise in the intro? Anything could happen, and I hope you find them amusing. In the spirit of treats and trickery, a number of these tracks have been included specifically to glorify the light-bringer, dearest Lucifer himself, Mr. Satan McDevilface! And before you go getting your titties in an uproar… actually, go ahead and do that; I’m intrigued. Anyway, I’m not a “devil-worshipper,” or any such silliness. That would require me to buy in to Christian ideas of an actual metaphysical being and/or consciousness, and frankly, I’d rather Krazy Glue my nipples to a freight train.
I only loosely identify with Satanism as a philosophy for its humanistic elements that further compassion for your fellow man, but I definitely love all the art and accessories created because of it. I don’t care to worship anything except myself, and even then, I’m far from ceremonious about it. That’s pretty much the primary tenet of Satanism: the idea that you are your own god. Doesn’t sound so bad unless you’re the sort of person who can’t stand being held and/or holding yourself accountable for your actions. Anyway, I could go on about Satanism and want not, but time’s a-wastin’, and it’s already 2 fuckin’ PM. Apologies for the later than usual delivery, bee-tee-dubs. I procrastinated like a motherfucker who procrastinates a lot, and I also chose to work a metric fuckton last week, so…
Let’s do the usual numbered list bullshit that no one but me gives a fuck about, mmkay?
1. It was brought to my attention that I ought to elaborate more on why I pick all these tracks from week to week. Well, those of you veteran perverts should recall that I did indeed do that in the early days. I stopped for two reasons: 1. (Hah! a numbered list in a numbered list) It greatly increases production time on every edition considering I’d need to organize everything into blocks and then say a little somethin’ after each one. Frankly, I don’t always have a whole fuck of a lot to say about each and every track. Many times, I just hear a compelling melody, or rhythm, or whatever-the-fuck, and decide it’s worth sharing. That especially goes for the artists I’ve only just recently discovered. 2. I got the distinct and damn near palpable impression that no one gave much of a fuck, shit, damn, or nun’s twat hair what I had to say about any of the tracks, so I figured my intros were plenty. I don’t recall getting any feedback either way about that decision, but hey, I’ve altered my podcast before based on a single constructive comment. So long as the comments are constructive, I take them all into consideration. So, considering said consideration and the greatly increased production time/efforts that would go into doing things the old way, I would love to hear from pretty much literally anyone on the subject. If I feel compelled enough, I may go that extra mile for those of you especially devoted perverts who actually do give all the fucks, shits, damns and nun’s twat hairs what I have to say.
2. I’ve also heard a couple little birdies whisper that these podcasts are perhaps too long. Fair enough, I know I’m too much, and shorter podcasts would mean more time for me to sleep and all that jazz, which is something I’m tragically lacking at the moment. Again, if anyone would like to echo that sentiment, my DMs are as open as a courtesan’s legs. Anyway, this edition is just a paramecium’s testicle hair over 5 hours, much like last year’s Maximum Spoop edition. Paramecia don’t have testicles, so don’t bother looking that up either. I just make shit up for fun sometimes, ‘cause fun is also tragically lacking in the world these days.
3. You may notice some grouping of similar track titles in the overall playlist order. That is indeed intentional, and I did whatever I could to make it interesting and semi-sense-makey. Could I have done it better? Always, but art escapes every artist, ya know? The word art is doing some olympic level heavy-lifting in the context of creatively ordering a playlist, but I imagine you get my fuckin’ drift. Moving on…
4. A little over half of these tracks are things I’ve played before, or from artists who are definitely no stranger to this podcast. In the case of the latter, I tried to dig a little deeper in the track selections for each artist to keep it all a little fresher. These Halloween editions are some of my favorites to make because despite being the broke & broken bitch that I am, I do still absolutely adore Halloween. Consumerism in general mostly repulses me, but I make an exception for Halloween.
5. Let’s quickly go down the list and I’ll try to say a little something about everything… *big inhale* Okaaaay, the Halfbreed track is recycled from last year ‘cause this year’s called Trick or Treat, and it just fit so well. Sue me. Actually, don’t, please. The Oh! the Horror track is one I’ve played before too, and yet NOT on any Halloween edition! What the actual fuck is wrong with me?! Well, I managed to fix that little thing at least. Excellent way to kick off this podcast, in my opinion. Behemoth is what I wish black metal had always been. That crisp, clean production quality is really noticeable, although I imagine there ain’t a ton of money in that particular subgenre for lesser-knowns, so it’s understandable why their level of quality isn’t more ubiquitous.
GRAVEDGR is fuckin’ badass! I love the original RAMPAGE track, and this remix doesn’t disappoint either. I included three of his jams, so yojne the fuck outta those. Alla Xul Elu is a trio of horrorcore dudes on Twiztid’s Majik Ninja Entertainment label. I’ve talked about them and played them numerous times, so you’re downright intentionally missing out if you haven’t looked into them yourself by now. Jesus, this fucking shit is going to take forever… Anyway, Ice Nine Kills, I feel like I might not enjoy the rest of their work as much as I enjoyed this track. Not entirely sure why I get that feeling, but we’ll have to see. Tokyo Machine is a relatively new discovery, and so far I’m lovin’ the fuck out of his jams, which are sorta chipstep… Chiptune and dubstep hybrid. Really looking forward to hearing more from him (or her, not sure).
Cradle of Filth, Existence Is Futile. New album by these veterans of the black metal genre. Give it a listen if you enjoy this new track like I did. Rob Zombie… I mean, do I even need to say anything? I’ve loved Rob Zombie’s work since the White Zombie days. Totally dating myself here, but I remember being hyped as fuck when Astro-Creep 2000 came out. That’s how old I am, motherfucker. The Glitch Mob? Shit, I can’t really label them as dubstep, but they’ve got some of those vibes. I’ve enjoyed pretty much everything I’ve heard from them, and I especially love when they include vocals on their tracks. ICP’s Pumpkin Carver? That’s my absolute all-time favorite Halloween track of theirs, and it makes me nostalgic for better, less-fragmented juggalo world days. Y’all see what I mean about the increased production time here? I’m only twelve tracks into a 79 track long playlist, and I’ve already written three fuckin’ paragraphs. If I went down the entire list, we might be lookin’ at a 20 paragraph long intro… You really want that much of my rambling nonsense standin’ between y’all and the yojne? I know, I know. I ought to save all these ramblings for spots between blocks, but I also sorta feel like the flow of the tracks is more important than anything I could ever say. That, and a lot of tracks speak well enough for themselves.
Frankly, I’d absolutely love it if anyone were ever curious enough to actually ask me anything ever at any point in time about why I picked XYZ track or whatever. Those are the sorts of conversations I set out hoping to inspire when I began this podcast. Any-fuckin’-way, let’s see if I can’t condense the rest of this massive fuckin’ intro…
6. Shoutout to Al for introducing me to Harley Poe, my lovie Alex for Irving Force, my boy Vega for the Killing Joke track (although I knew of them beforehand), and my ex Vera for The Knife. All fantastic artists and tracks; y’all have some great taste.
7. Man, I’m tired as fuck right now. Goin’ on 20 hours awake, and I’ve already been writing this fuckin’ intro for at least two hours. Let’s just nix whatever other bullshit I could have rambled on fuckin’ endlessly about and save it as a bonus for anyone curious and courageous enough to actually ask me about it. Sound good? Great. Well, not as great as the yojne, so YOOOOJNEEEEE!

2021-10-11 (Liquid Makes Me Wet Edition Vol. 6)
Monday Oct 11, 2021
Monday Oct 11, 2021
IIIIIIIIIIIII’m goddamn exhausted!
And IIIIIII wanna go to fuckin’ beeeeed!
I thought I’d treat y’all to another rendition of the song with which I started the last volume of this shit. Yes, I am muthafuckin’ and goddamn exhausted all in one glorious fuckin’ ball of pluh, but we have a muthafuckin’ podcast to do here! Emo-goddamn-sonofabitch-nun-cunt-Jesus-jizz-on-a-camel’s-elbow-clew to the 6th volume of the Liquid Makes Me Wet Edition of Monday Mornin’ Aural muth-a-fuck-in’ Sex! This is gonna be a short intro similar to last week’s because just like I said in volume 5, I did not sing that fuckin’ song for no reason. Couple things first, though:
1. Apparently, I did know the Jason Ross & Blanke song called One More Day already. I played it on the Send Newds Vol. 3 Edition, and I guess Con and/or Alex just found that one independent of me and it ended up on our Blend playlist. Ah well. Not like anyone would ever have noticed that shit unless I’d pointed it out like the hopeless fuckin’ music geek I am.
2. For whomever may yet still be un-fuckin’-awares, liquid is another form of drum’n’bass with more melodic elements at the forefront of the mix. It’s short for liquid funk, and I’m not 100% sure, but I think there’s some crossover tracks between liquid and drumstep. There are similar elements between the two subgenres, so you’ll hear a lot of both of those because I think to some degree they’re interchangeable.
2.5. If you don’t like liquid or drumstep for whatever reason, that’s perfectly fine. You have every right to be wrong.
3. This fuckin’ shit is damn near 5 hours because I’m too much. You know this, I know this, we’re movin’ on.
4. Much like other themed editions I make, 2/3rds of this edition are entirely new finds, while the remaining 3rd is comprised of tracks from older editions because they deserve multiple appearances on this podcast, dammit.
5. Nope, no more goddamn numbered list bullshit for now. I’m wrappin’ this shit right here so we can all. fuckin’. yojne!

2021-09-27 (Send Newds Edition Vol. 9)

Monday Sep 27, 2021
O-M-M-F-G! It’s been 3 entire fuckin’ weeks since our last foray into the universe of the new! The new-niverse, if you will. If you won’t, then go eat a fuckin’ apple or some shit. Fuckin’ pervert! Any-fuckin’-way, emo-muthafuckin’-clew to the 9th installment of the Send Newds Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! Goodness gracious do we have a nipple-hardening podcast in store for us this week, dearest perverinos. 69 fuckin’ tracks (because of course, and Giggity), damn near 4 1/2 hrs of stuff that’s entirely new to this podcast, some of which is entirely new to me as well. Some of this stuff I only just found a few hours prior to putting this podcast out, so it’s really kind of a little music present from me to you. It’s up to you whether you want to indulge in sheer fucktacularity or twiddle your ass hairs doing whatever else but listening to this podcast. Surgery? Fuck you, listen to this podcast. Space travel? Eat a dick. I’m sure you could figure out a way to listen to this podcast on the ISS or whatever shit.
Any-fuckin’-way, let me say some things about stuff:
1. My roommate recently showed me Black Swan for the first time. In case you’re wondering why, shit, some things just fly under the radar and out of memory. Anyway, there’s a club scene around 2/3rds of the way in, and the song that plays is fuckin’ fire. Come to find out, it’s called Don’t Think, and it’s a fuckin’ Chemical Brothers track! Whaaaat?! Why was I not informed of such a fuckin’ bop? Good lord. You know what it is? I was just discussing this with my buddy Vega. I’ve written off a number of artists simply due to their music being used for commercials, and I’ve realized numerous times how shortsighted it is to do that. It’s purist, elitist, and I don’t want to be either one. I just loathe commercialism and invasive marketing & advertisements so completely that sometimes otherwise talented artists can get mired in the rest of that fuckin’ miserable, capitalistic muck. Anyway, yeah, stay tuned for that one ‘cause it’s pretty fuckin’ hot. Black Swan was definitely an interesting watch, too.
2. I came across an Argentinian symphonic metal band called Slania. Turns out they did a cover of Rammstein’s, “Mutter,” which will no doubt delight my lovie Alex who just got a Mutter tattoo on her back. I have little doubt it’ll delight fans of the original. I think the orchestra is mixed a tad too hot in some places, but it’s still an excellent cover overall. I also went ahead and threw in an original of theirs called Limbo ‘cause Limbo’s one of my all-time favorite games. I know they’re unrelated except in name. Fuck you, I don’t have to be clever 24/7.
3. Shout the fuck out to my lovie Alex for providing me with the following tracks: Ghost Town’s, “You’re so Creepy,” Irving Force’s, “Touch the Corpse,” Russkaja’s, “Love Revolution,” Goldfinger’s, “Wallflower,” and Emigrate’s, “YOU CAN’T RUN AWAY.” Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the excellent recommendations, and I hope you enjoy hearing them in this edition if ya listen to it. Shout the fuck out to my homies Constance and her boyfriend Alex for TELYKast’s, “Somebody New,” Gaullin’s,” Moonlight,” ppcocaine’s, “DDLG,” (which is a fuckin’ hilarious track that sounds like punk porno trap or some shit), CORPSE & Savage Ga$p’s, “E-GIRLS ARE RUINING MY LIFE!,” Okaeri & Dill’s, “Hitori,” Jason Ross & Blanke’s, “One More Day (with Chandler Leighton),” and finally, she’s, “Music Like This.” Good muthafuckin’ lord, this edition is beginning to feel less like somethin’ I did and more like somethin’ we all did together. All that sharing of awesome shit with each other, that feeling of life enhancement is what I aim for with every edition of this shit. Thank you to all of y’all for making Blend playlists with me on Spotify. I’ll definitely be revisiting those playlists periodically. Little shoutout to my buddy Vega for showing me the Container Park track by Chemical Brothers. I had no idea they’d scored a movie! Definitely wanna look for that one. Finally, one last little shoutout to my buddy Aloysius for the Burn The Ballroom track, “Esmeralda.” I snagged that one from our Blend playlist, too. As much as I hate Spotify for their business practices, I do love some of the features of that damn app. I should probably cancel and join Tidal, but good lord, I have so many Spotify playlists already. Any-fuckin’-way, 3 has gone on for way, way too fucking long.
4. For all who don’t yet know, Sigur Rós is some of the most beautiful music ever made. This track was used at the end of the 13th season of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia for the dance scene at the end. It’s been a while since I’ve thought about Sigur Rós, but I’ve never lost any love for ‘em and what I’ve heard thus far. I’ll have to listen to a full album sometime and hopefully not fall into a blissful slumber.
5. Two Metallica covers in this edition from The Blacklist. The Blacklist is a charity effort on behalf of Metallica and all the artists who contributed. Apparently, “all profits will be donated to the numerous charities of each contributing artist’s choice along with Metallica’s own foundation called All Within My Hands.” Not sure exactly what that foundation does or what the other charities are, but I certainly hope they’re doing good work. Lot of corrupt charities out there. Anyway, yeah, I heard a chilling cover of Nothing Else Matters from there, and I just… Couldn’t hang with that one. These two are perfectly fine to me. Definitely different, but different can be awesome. Up to you, up to all of us.
6. Alla Xul Elu is one of my favorite groups on Twiztid’s Majik Ninja Entertainment label, and they don’t disappoint on Six Feet Deep. They’re fuckin’ awesome, in my opinion. I think they’re considerably darker than most horrorcore out there, but they also have senses of humor. I can’t wait to see ‘em live whenever concerts can actually fucking happen safely again.
7. That group called Vended? That’s Corey Taylor’s son and Shawn Crahan’s son in a band together. Pretty fuckin’ awesome, if ya ask me! Speaking of sons of awesome metal musicians, if y’all haven’t heard Dez Fafara’s son Simon, you really ought to look him up. Kid’s got quite a growl just like Corey’s son.
8. Apparently The Agonist is still puttin’ out fire! Haven’t delved into them in a while, but I’ve played a number of their tracks on this podcast over the years. Any of my melodic metal fans out there ought to really enjoy that one. Moving on, Twiztid put out another rock track?! Yup! It’s called Parasite, and it’s comin’ up soon. I don’t know about y’all, but I’ve always thought Twiztid put forth solid efforts in their forays into the rock genre. Anyway, Parasite’s pretty fuckin’ cool to me. Hopefully y’all feel similarly. An acoustic piano version of Still Alive by Lisa Miskovsky?! Ummm, yesss!!! Are you fuckin’ kidding me, man? What a gorgeous fuckin’ song. Always makes me want to go back to finish the Mirror’s Edge games. Anyway, yojne the fuck outta that one, ‘cause I damn sure will. Another banger from Josh A, eh? You goddamn right, apparently. Dude’s got hits for days and days. Check him the fuck out. Oh look! Another fuckin’ Death Tour track! This time with Bob Vylan! How the fuck could that be anything but fuckin’ awesome?! Another chapter in the seemingly never-ending saga of my enthusiasm for Death Tour. Finally, if y’all haven’t been paying attention to the Algorithm tracks I’ve been playing over the past few years, y’all been fuckin’ up. I have yet to hear a bad track by The Algorithm (which I concede sounds like some bizarrely dystopian thing), and Decompilation is certainly no exception to that rule. I mean, fuck, why would I include an exception to that rule? That doesn’t make any fuckin’ sense, ya caulk gobbler. Then again, I suppose gobbling caulk doesn’t make much sense either. Ah well.
9. Nein! Niet! Non! No nine for bovine clotheslines on borrowed time!
10. Shit, man, I mean… just fuckin’ yojne, alright?

2021-09-20 (All-Star Series: The Lander Sisters Edition)
Monday Sep 20, 2021
Monday Sep 20, 2021
Wwwwhhhhat the actual, factual, metaphysical quantum fuck is up, perverts? Emo-muthafuckin’-clew to another installment of the All-Star Series: the Lander Sisters Edition! Clearly, we’ll be hearing lots of Brad Paisley, Michael Bublé, Yanni and other such marshmallow soft jams, except fuck no and not at all. The Lander Sisters, for those not in the know, are the women who formed Kittie! They’re actually the only two entirely consistent members of the band over the years. They had lineup changes with almost every new album. Not sure why, but I’ve been a huge fan of theirs pretty much from the beginning. Never got my hands on a copy of their demo tape called Sex Iz Hell, but my introduction to them was plenty powerful as it was and continues to be. It was actually the music video for Brackish, and I saw it on MTV. Crazy, right? MTV actually used to play music videos. Guess they figured out they could make fucktons more money doing other things with their broadcasting. Ç’est la fuckin’ capitalism and all, ya know?
Anyway, I was hooked within mere seconds of Brackish beginning. It’s an absolute classic of the nü-metal genre. It may be that nü-metal goes mostly forgotten in the future, or just misunderstood. Perhaps you had to be there, but as some of you may know, Kittie evolved well beyond their nü-metal roots as early as their sophomore album, Oracle. From then on, they fused more traditional metal with gorgeous melodies that were captivating to me from album to album. As far as I’m concerned, they don’t have any bad tracks. The worst any of them ever are is a little less memorable than the others.
Here on this All-Star Series edition, I’ve compiled all the most memorable tracks (in my opinion), along with some lesser-known features and side-projects. In the cases of Karkaos and The White Swan, those are the main projects for Morgan and Mercedes these days, and they’re both fuckin’ intense. I wish so much that I’d been able to go see Morgan perform with Karkaos, but alas, I have yet to obtain a fuckin’ passport. Didn’t used to need a passport to go to Canadia, but wtf/e. I’d love to see White Swan perform too, but COVID is still fuckin’ everything because of idiots doing idiotic shit.
Anyway, let me say a few things before we commence this epic, osmiumic yojnement:
1. Kittie’s cover of David Bowie’s, “Space Oddity,” makes a return for this podcast, because of coooouuuurse! How could it not? I mean, I think it’s pretty fuckin’ cool. I think they did an excellent job with it, and I think David Bowie would be proud.
2. I’m pretty sure the (hed)p.e. song called Feel Good was one of both Morgan Lander’s and Serj Tankian’s first features ever. That album released in 2001, I’m pretty sure, and both System and Kittie were just starting to make waves around that time. Obviously, System was catapulted to stadium-level fame due to their album Toxicity, but Kittie always remained just as close to my heart.
3. The two tracks, Buried Dreams and Snap Your Fingers/Snap Your Neck, they don’t have any official band name, but just the list of artists who did them. I’m not sure if Buried Dreams is a cover, but Snap Your Fingers… is by a group called Prong. Check them out if ya can spare a fuck or a shit. Also, Jeff Phillips stood in for Fallon when Kittie toured for Oracle, and he later played guitar for Thine Eyes Bleed, one of the bands in this edition who featured Morgan on one of their albums.
4. The Adam Wendler song called Follow Me Down is pretty much the greatest departure from the rest of this edition. I’m honestly surprised I even found it, ‘cause to the best of my knowledge, it’s a feature that was barely publicized at all. It’s supposed to be like, country folk, or indie pop or something. It’s not my favorite track by far, but I included it to show how versatile a vocalist/musician Morgan is and can be.
5. So, the legendary band called Green Jelly put out an album earlier this year that had a bunch of features on it, including Morgan Lander. Unfortunately, I had to dig deep to figure out exactly which track she was featured on because none of the album tracklistings I could find show the names of the features. I ended up figuring it out from reading a random comment on a review for the album on YouTube. It’s called Back Alley Dentist, and while it’s far from the most prominent showcase of Morgan’s vocal abilities, it’s still a solid track.
6. I know basically fuck all about Blackguard, Kataklysm, Team Cybergeist, We Are PIGS, Trilateral, Thine Eyes Bleed and Rocky Gray, but they’re all artists with whom Morgan has been featured, and they’re all awesome. Check ‘em out if any of ‘em hit you hard enough, ‘cause no doubt they could use all the support they can get. I’ve played other Kataklysm and We Are PIGS tracks on other editions, but I still know very little about any of those artists.
7. In case you’re curious, Mercedes does the vocals for The White Swan. Not just the vocals, but guitar, keyboards and... drumroll… drums. Of coooourse! That band is fantastic much like all the other bands on this edition, and they’re unique in that they’re kind of stoner metal, or sludge rock (according to their website). Dreamy-ass vocals indeed. I’d even say their stuff is downright meditative. Mayhaps you’ll agree once that stuff comes up.
8. So, the Kittie album called Until The End has a fifth track called Pussy Sugar. On Spotify, however, it’s just called Sugar. Why? Goodness gracious, is PUSSY somehow a bad word? Why on any planet between Earth and Pluto would anyone censor the word PUSSY?! PUSSY is a fantastic word, not to mention a fantastic genitalia. Also, partially related, a clean version of a Common song called The 6th Sense snuck onto last week’s Punk-Hop podcast. So to make up for all the so-called profanity that was censored in that song, fuck, fuck, fuck, shit, fuck, bitch, fuck-shit-ass-bitch-cunt-shooba-dee-doo-wop.
9. Two of my all-time favorite Kittie tracks are Safe and Time Never Heals. Keep your ears peeled for those, ‘cause they’re worth your fuckin’ attention. Another of my all-time favorites is a semi-rare cover of a song by a 90s hip-hop artist named Da Brat. I’m fairly certain that they’re somewhat ashamed at ever having covered this song called Da Shit Ya Can’t Fuc Wit, but I think it’s fun and amusing. We’re all our own worst critics, of course.
10. Eh, nothing else particularly notable to mention. I hope y’all enjoy this celebratory tribute to these awesome metal women. Not to say they’re robots, at least not to the best of my knowledge. Maybe they are… Oh n00000ez! Ah well, we’re long overdue for the robot revolution. Bring it on, muthafuckas! Bring that on, and also bring on the yoooojneeeeee!
