The up fuck is what, muthafuckaaaas?! Emoclew to the 2nd installment of the Blues & Jazz Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! Boy, I wonder what current events in my life could’ve possibly inspired me to do an edition like this. Real head-scratchin’ shocker right there, right? But yes, tragically, this is only the 2nd one of these I’ve ever done. The last one I did was 6 fuckin’ years ago, and who even remembers any shit that happened back then, amiright? It’s been quite a fuckin’ whirlwind, in my opinion, which is also rooted in facts. Any-fuckin’-way, with the exception of one particularly exceptional Ray Charles favorite of mine, this is all entirely new shit. At least, it’s new to me. Wait, no, because Tom Waits! That’s fuckin’ right! I haven’t played any Tom Waits in goddamn forever, and now here I have a great opportunity to do so considering his earlier stuff is very bluesy. That dude has an absolutely phenomenal catalogue, which is why I made one of my first All-Star Series editions for him wayyyyy back in 2013. Fuck, I don’t even remember who I was back then, but I know I loved Tom Waits.
Moving on, this edition has not only jazz & blues classics, but stuff like jazzy EDM, acid jazz, blues rock, blues piano instrumentals, and I even found one guy called Shook whose genre classification can be described as… Yeah, great stuff right there. Also want to dedicate the Laura Fygi version of La vie en rose to my friend Veida with whom I recently had a brief exchange about various versions of that song. My personal favorite is still the ukulele version done around the end of How I Met Your Mother, but this version is absolutely lovely as well. Of course, this edition has to start off with Billie Holiday, ‘cause she’s a fuckin’ jazz queen and I love her to death and beyond. Speaking of which, though I included her version of Gloomy Sunday on the 1st Blues & Jazz Edition, I’ve opted instead for the Mel Tormé version for this one. Gloomy Sunday, for all those sadly not in the know, is a song that many once believed was cursed due to the number of suicides it allegedly inspired. Certainly not a far leap considering the lyrics, but it still ain’t a fuckin’ curse. Anyway, look up Gloomy Sunday on Wikipedia sometime if you’re interested in learning more.
What else, what else? Oh, I included two different versions of In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning in here. One’s instrumental, one has some magnificent vocals, but neither are the Frank Sinatra version which was the first I ever heard on his album of the same name. Holy fuck, you want to take a trip to Melancholyville? Take a listen to that album. I had no idea Sinatra had ever written (or just performed) such painfully beautiful stuff. That album has a fascinating history behind it, too. Check it out sometime if you’re curious. Also, near the end, there’s a fucksquisite version of a Leonard Cohen song called Dance Me to the End of Love done by a woman named Bria Skonberg. One of my all-time favorites of his, and believe it or not, its original inspiration came from a story about the Holocaust. Leonard Cohen talked about it in a radio interview in the mid-90s. He said there were sometimes string quartets who were forced to perform while people were being tortured and/or killed, and eventually the players themselves met the same fate. Kind of a crazy, dark twist on what many see as a love song, right?
Lastly, and also around the end, the track by Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox called I Only Have Eyes For You… First of all, yes, it is a jazzy version of the old doo-wop hit from many moons ago. Second, I didn’t notice the name of the featured vocalist until I’d already added it to the playlist and was in the process of recording it. That vocalist’s name, you may ask? Sunny Holiday… See, this is the kind of shit I was talking about last week. Shit like this has happened to me countless times where I’m not even looking for it, and suddenly, there it is before my eyes. So, whatever, it’s hardly the most significant example, but it is one of my favorite doo-wop tracks. Bet y’all motherfuckers didn’t even know I got down with doo-wop, but I absolutely do… wop. Hah!

Do. Not. Funk. With. My. Fuckin’. Soul! Emo-muthafuckin’-clew to the 3rd volume of the Don’t Funk With My Soul Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! Should be pretty clear what we’ve got in store for us this week. This is almost all entirely new stuff; most of it is stuff I found only just last week. Some of the tracks are ones I’ve known about for many years, but that haven’t yet made any appearance on this podcast, and it’s about fuckin’ time. That goes for the Dr. John tracks, the Bill Withers track, and definitely the Cody Chesnutt tracks.
To be perfectly frank, I’m not enormously conversant on the funk and/or soul genres, but I definitely appreciate the fuck out of a lot of it. I’ve certainly listened to plenty of it over the years that I’ve been doing rideshare work, considering that stuff was the most often complimented music I ever played. That being said, I don’t have a whole lot to say about these tracks individually. This is just me continuing to expand my (and your) knowledge of these awesome genres. Although, if I’m 100% with y’all, my heart wasn’t particularly into any type of podcast this week due to the extreme emotional exhaustion I’m currently enduring after what I did last week, and the week before. Also, the reason I posted a Flashback edition last week is ‘cause for some reason, the tracks were interrupted during recording, and by the time I noticed it, it was already like 7:30 AM, sooo… Yeah, needed sleep.
I will note, however, that apparently tens of millions of people knew about Musiq Soulchild’s track called Just Friends (Sunny) long before I did, ‘cause I literally just discovered it last week. I should also give fair warning here that the latter portion of this edition gets pretty heavy, but yeah, kind of a strange and mildly upsetting occurrence finding that track considering what I just spent most of my nights doing over the past two weeks (and those of you who follow my socials ought to know what I’m talking about here), but y’all might be surprised how often strange and mildly upsetting things happen to me in that regard. I suppose one could make the argument that because she’s so prominent in my mind that I’m bound to notice shit like that more often. Fair enough, I suppose, but a lot of it still strikes me as pretty out of the blue.
I imagine no small number of people out there would interpret those happenings as some sort of communication. I guess I’m somewhat open to that. I just know it would be much easier to believe if there was something unequivocally pertinent being communicated beyond something as simple as, “hey there.” Maybe that’s all it can ever be, maybe that’s all it ever needs to be. I don’t know, I’m fuckin’ rambling at this point. Whaddya say we get to the yojnefyin’ already?!

My dearest perverts, it is with a heavy cock in hand that I must tender my resignation from this greatest of podcasts. I have come to realize that I've been spreading myself far too thin, what with all my immensely time-consuming projects such as snail psychology, toenail sculpturing, potato harp lessons, crotch spelunking, anal implosion (and explosion), and artificial insemination of random amphibians (including males), to name a few. I enjoy laughter, and if you don’t, you might be a nazi or a Republican politician. This was kind of a spur of the moment decision to make another edition of new shit; I was going to try making another themed one, but the release of one particular song changed my fuckin’ mind hard. If any of y’all have talked to me in the past few days, you know I’m talkin’ about muthafuckin’ Ho99o9’s new lava-ass fuckin’ track featuring Corey muthafuckin’ Taylor called BITE MY FACE! Holy fuckin’ shitballs on Virgin Mother Mary’s chin, this goddamn track es un infierno! I’ve even put it right at the beginning for all you muthafuckas who somehow want to hear it but don’t feel like skipping to it… Nah, it’s mainly just for me, ‘cause Jesus jism-juggling Christ, what a fuckin’ track.
Like I would say if Einstagrom would allow me to post the shit I want to on my story, this track is 3 minutes and 6 seconds, 3 distinct parts, all brutal, dreamy and fuckin’ gorgeous. You owe it to yourselves to look up the video, too. Anyway, plenty of other gangbangers in this bitch as well. Another magnificent jam from BLVK JVCK, Onyx seems to have made Slam 2 with their track called Just Slam, another slice of new fucktacularity from defrag called Event, Camellia with another ear-splitting symphony… What else? Hmm, I don’t know if y’all noticed by now, but I reeeeally fuckin’ love Feint. I can’t recall a single track of his that didn’t fuckin’ slap harder than I slapped your dad’s ass the other night, confusing the fuck out of both of us. Anyway, kind of a lot of artists who haven’t been on the podcast for a while here. Lo Key, for one, Erra, Lex Amor, definitely The Birthday Massacre, TYNAN, Truth, Nitro Fun, Juche, Kai Wachi, and various others. Bee tee dubs, this edition is an hour shorter than last week’s. Not specifically to compensate for the stupid-ass Daylight Savings Time, but it can be for that reason if you’d like it to be. I ought to mention that Beach House was a recommendation from progressive comedienne Francesca Fiorentini during last year’s July AMA. She actually went all the way in with the recommendations, and I ended up making a 2 hour playlist from them. It’s on my Spotify profile if, by some silverback-gorillas-emerging-from-my-anus magical-ass chance, you’re actually interested in that. I am, but y’all know me and my curiosity.

IIIII don’t wanna be awake right now! But I aaaaam, so let’s do a fuckin’ podcaaaast. Emo-muthafuckin’-jizz-on-a-Mormon’s-strawberry-clew to the Too True Few Who Screw the New Blue Shoe Glue in a Canoe in Peru in ’22 Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! Listen, if you don’t care for my sense of humor, feel free to consume a satchel of Richards. You have my blessing. Anyway, what in the holy sock universe fuck could that title mean? Eh, just some new shit I found last night. There’s actually a little over four fuckin’ hours here for us. I usually stop at 3 for these editions, and that’s me reining myself in. Either that, or I’m just having an off week and can’t find a whole lot of share-worthy new shit. Y’all would be pleasantly surprised just how much awesome new shit is being released by artists far and wide every week. At least, y’all would be surprised if y’all were curious enough to look for it. Helps even more the more diverse your tastes are, so you muthafuckas know I’m on top of all sortsa new shit. Plenty of shit flies under my Release Radar though, no doubt.
Any-fuckin’-way, a number of notable mentions this week go to muthafuckin’ defrag first for releasing his first album in fuckin’ years! I’ve talked about defrag before. He’s one of my all-time favorite electronic music artists, and his styles are ever-changing and always fascinating to me. That’s pretty fuckin’ rare in 20+ years of fandom, however not too fuckin’ rare as Dog Fashion Disco retains that honor for me as well! They just put out a new track, and if I’m not mistaken, they’ve either just put out a new album or are just about to. Always fantastic fuckin’ circus metal from those guys. It’s not even entirely accurate to call them that. They’re better described as eclectic metal in my opinion.
I’m about to butcher the fuck out of this dude’s name, but polish guitar virtuoso Marcin Patrzałek put out a guitar version of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue, and it’s his usual slice of awesome pie. My boy Al introduced me to his stuff years ago, and I’ve played him a number of times on this podcast. Anyway, haven’t seen Death Tour around these parts for a while! Very nice to see/hear them on a new jam with another group called LUzA CULT. Zardonic with another brutal fuckin’ remix in this bitch. This one’s a foray into dubstep, whereas their usual fare is more hardcore and drumstep. I haven’t disliked a Zardonic track yet.
Fuckin’ Krewella makin’ a valiant return to the podcast with Drive Away! I was sorta lukewarm on them for a while. Their more recent stuff didn’t hit as hard as their earlier shit, which is fine of course. Artists are certainly allowed to evolve and try new things w/o any consideration for anyone’s tastes. Anyway, glad to catch another great jam from them. Anyone recall on one of the Pride Editions last year, I played a song called Wanda’s Cunty Vision? Well, that artist was Ocean Kelly, and I found two new fantastic tracks by them: Millennium Freestyle and Vegan Pussy. How am I not gonna at least listen to a track called Vegan Pussy, hmm? Pleased to report that it pleasantly tickled my ear cavities, so I have shared it with y’all.
I also managed to pick up a jam by a Turkish hip-hop artist named Önder Şahin. Apparently it’s one on which two members of Onyx were featured, and it’s actually a remix of the original which came out in 2013. Isn’t the internet wonderful? We could’ve gone our whole lives without knowing that, but now we do. Anyway, the remix was/is fuckin’ fire, so it’s right here with all the rest. Speaking of features (even though I’m pretty sure this is an entirely different artist using the same name), I caught a track with FERR, and it was very different indeed from the dreamy, ambient stuff that Ferry Corsten typically releases under the moniker FERR. Certainly wasn’t expecting fuckin’ Tunisian hip-hop, but that’s what I got! Anyway, that’s Daber Rassek (no fuckin’ idea how to pronounce that properly) by NVST & FERR, and I thought it was pretty fuckin’ cool; especially ‘cause I had no fuckin’ idea what language they were speaking until I started typing about it in this intro.
Definitely wasn’t expecting the sort of track I got out of the Steve Aoki & grandson collabo. It’s got some Pendulum vibes in that it’s rock mixed with drum’n’bass. Pretty fuckin’ nice, in my humble-ass fuckin’ opinion. Y’all… I’ve played Purrple Cat a number of times now. How fuckin’ dreamy are those jams? Well, this new one called Light Years Apart certainly doesn’t disappoint. I love tracks that inspire me to make music of my own. Whether or not I have time to act on that inspiration is an entirely different matter, but nonetheless. Absolutely gorgeous shit right there. Oh, I’ve got another Lo-Fi version of an Amity Affliction song, too! I’m unfamiliar with the original, but this Lo-Fi version is dreamy as fuck as well. I’ve definitely enjoyed just about every Amity Affliction original I’ve heard, too.
Ooooo, a new Once Human jam? Well, rootily-toot-tootily-indeedily-fuckin’-do! When it started in my car, I literally said, “Oooooo…” Literally, literally, literally. Anyway, phenomenal fuckin’ metal right there. The vocalist is insanely talented and hot as all fuck to bootily-boot. Has anyone noticed the Kayou. tracks I’ve been playing? Well shit, they’re all fuckin’ sweet, and this one is yet another. It’s a little difficult to describe. It’s like chillwave hip-hop, which is actually a departure from the other stuff I’ve played. Still fuckin’ sweet, though. Oh, then we have a dude named LLLLNNNN… I have no idea if there’s some special way to pronounce that. I only just discovered him a week or two ago through an Instagram ad he posted. He’s classified himself as hard dance, and despite only having 3 songs posted on Spotify, he has over 50K monthly listeners. Dude definitely knows how to promote his shit.
New Meshuggah track? Well fuck yes indeed! If you can’t hang with Meshuggah, I wouldn’t blame you. Kind of an acquired taste. Gotta be a weirdo freakazoid like me. I’ve seen them live twice, and both times were just… *wistful sigh*. I miss mosh pits so much. Anyway, almost done here. More jams from Extra Terra, Ekoh & Crossfaith in this bitch, and they’re all vastly different from each other, but similarly as fucktacular. They’re like darkwave, indie hip-hop & Japanese deathcore respectively. Pretty fuckin’ sweet.

DWAAAAAMN! Emo-to-tha-muthafuckin’-clew to the Tech N9ne Edition of the All-Star Series of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! Goodness gracious, what a fuckin’ podcast do I have in store for us this week. If y’all somehow unfamiliar with Tech N9ne, lemme school ya: Real name Aaron Yates, Tech has been rapping for almost forty fuckin’ years since 1985. Most of the stuff he released in the 20th century is likely buried super fuckin’ deep underground, ‘cause his first official release as Tech N9ne was The Calm Before the Storm in 1999. ’99 was also the year that Tech co-founded his label Strange Music, which has grown to be one of the most successful indie hip-hop labels in history. It wasn’t ’til Anghellic hit store shelves in 2001 that his career started really taking off, however it was his single, “Slacker,” off Absolute Power (released the following year) that caught my attention.
I adored that track so much that I immediately bought both of those albums at the CD store I worked at at the time. Even though Absolute Power is the album that caught my attention initially, I enjoyed Anghellic even more. Aside from Busta Rhymes and Eminem, I hadn’t heard anyone with a flow like his. I greatly appreciated the darker subject matter of his tracks (especially in Suicide Letters), and I later learned that his style was known as chopping. Thus, you have tracks like Midwest & Worldwide Choppers. His name (Tech N9ne) was apparently given to him by another rapper named Black Walt due to his style. In fact, first up, we’ll be hearing a fan favorite track of his called Stamina where he’s literally just rapping over gunshots.
Tech’s clear love for his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri can’t be overstated. It’s all over his lyrics, and he even released a song called, “Red Kingdom,” for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019 before they played in the AFC Championship against the Patriots. Also, I’m not sure who created the drink Caribou Lou, but it certainly got much more popular after Tech’s song about it. It’s an incredibly tasty cocktail mixing 151 rum, Malibu and pineapple juice, and I damn near drank myself into an alcoholic coma with some especially potent Caribou Lou-ish concoctions at the 2007 Gathering of the Juggalos. 151 was actually discontinued by Bacardi in 2016; some speculate that they were tired of being sued for the pyrotechnic stunts that it inspired. My personal experiences with 151 are both extensive and vividly colorful. If any of y’all curious, I’ve definitely got some stories. Shit can be fuckin’ dangerous, for real.
Anyway, I digress. You perverts want to know somethin’ fuckin’ wild that I discovered in compiling this edition? The “featuring,” section of Tech’s Discogs page has 326 fuckin’ entries. I’m sure there are a number of repeats for tracks that appeared in multiple places, but Jesus twat-fiddling Christ, this man is prolific as fuck (and fuck is very prolific indeed). I’ve been a huge Tech N9ne fan for 20 years now, I’ve seen him live a bunch of times (and every time has been fuckin’ excellent), but I had no idea exactly how expansive his catalogue was until I did this.
For example, I had no idea that Corey Taylor had guested on multiple Tech tracks, and they’re all fuckin’ awesome. I had no idea that he recently released a dubstep EP with an artist named HU$H. That shit right there is one of the reasons why I do these All-Stars. It allows me and whomever else is listening to do a deeper dive into the careers of exceptionally interesting artists than we’d perhaps ever do on our own. In a way, each of these podcasts is a challenge from me to you; a challenge to try something new and/or simply to yojne something familiar. It’s also a challenge for me due to the sheer amount of time and effort I put into these week after week. I hope I’m not the only one who appreciates the challenge, but even if that were the case, I still would just as much.
Anyway, I should probably wrap this shit up before I start yammering as I do. As always, I encourage the fuck and the shit out of y’all to delve even deeper into this artist’s music once you’re through with this podcast. All of the All-Star Series artists are 100% worthy of your attention in one or many different ways, and while this is the 19th installment of my series, Tech has the honor of being the first hip-hop artist to be featured. I have no doubt I’ll be doing one for Immortal Technique at some point as well, so keep your eyes and ears peeled.

Mmmm… Fuckermothers far and wide, pervalitties and pervarinos, lend me your ears! Emo-muthafuckin’-clew to the 8th volume of the Entranced Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! What sorts of tuneage could we expect to hear in the “entranced,” editions, you might so sheepishly ask? Well, um… trance. Duh. I s’pose I could be playin’ some flangery new wave shit or somethin’, but nah, I’m all about that EDM. You oughta know by now.
For this edition, I dug deeeep as fuck in the ol’ archives. One of these tracks is from 25 fuckin’ years ago. Some of y’all weren’t even alive when this shit came out. I wanted to chock this one full as fuck with nostalgia, but also explore around the nostalgia. Some of these tracks remind me of much better times, and I’m delighted to still retain the memories. Probably a third or so is entirely new finds, others are from podcasts recently past, and another good portion are just dusty-ass jams I dug out for the occasion. Big thanks to my boy Alex for showing me the LTN and Vintage & Morelli tracks. They’re chill as fuck, which trance as a genre certainly can be.
Frankly, there are so many subgenres of trance (which is itself a subgenre of EDM, obviously), it’s a fascinating world to explore if you have the curiosity to do so. Y’all already know I do. Curiosity is most of what projects my ass up and out of bed throughout these blurry fuckin’ days. I hope y’all have equally or far more compelling reasons to do the same.

Mmmm… Good fuckin’ evening, perverts. Happy fuckin’ Valentine’s Day, and I do mean that quite literally. Emo-fuuuuckin’-clew one and all, perverts new and old to the third volume of the Valentine’s Day Fuckfest Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! I haven’t made a new one of these in a little over 8 years, and boy-oh-girl, this is one for the books. By the time I post this and it finally reaches your ever so eager little earholes, I will have been awake for over 24 hours. Why? Well, I had a lot of new samples to record. Veteran perverts from Fuckfests past will know that I fill these editions with all sorts of lasciviousness both from personal experiences and just random clips from movies and such. All the names have been concealed to protect the not-so-fucking-innocent, of course. In some cases, some of the samples are even sped up or slowed down to conceal a little more.
This edition has a little over a third of completely new finds. Most of the rest is stuff I’ve played before, but obviously not in the context of a compilation as delectable as this. Good amount of Rammstein in this one. I guess there’s just somethin’ about German industrial metal that really pumps my crank. Anyway, no need to yammer on any further. F-U-C-K-muthafuckin’-tacular Classics Edition Vol. 3, muthafuckaaaas! Oh my me and he and she and I and you and we am all the universe, do I have a podcast in store for us all today. This is a compilation of some of my favorite tracks from my earliest podcasts. For any of y’all who enjoy these, oh man, I could keep goin’ with these editions for quite a while yet. I mean, I could easily keep auto-cannibalizing until I hang up my headphones. The amount of fucktacularity that’s been prominently featured on this podcast over the years is fuckin’ staggering, and it will no doubt continue until it simply cannot anymore. Either that, or I just put it down again like I did in 2015 and between ’16-’19. Jesus fuck, I’ve actually been doing this for 10 years, hiatuses notwithstanding. Furry eel though, my very first podcast was uploaded on January 30th of 2012. That first edition didn’t have any theme, or even a title, and I didn’t even get a Podbean account until the next week after Soundcloud ousted me and I had to find somewhere else to host this.
Also, that first edition was my first Flashback Edition as well, and will eventually be flashed back to yet again ‘cause I had to delete it to make room for other editions. Let’s just say that Podbean had a different way of doing things back then, and I’m very glad they switched it up. Any-fuckin’-way, 10 fuckin’ years. Feels about right, frankly. The past decade has been exhausting beyond comprehension for me, and I have little reason to doubt the next one will be even more so, but I’ll keep putting one foot in front of another so long as I have a reason to do so. Shit, I might even keep on without a reason just to see if another emerges. If one doesn’t emerge, perhaps I’ll create one. The possibilities are fuckin’ endless, right? Sure, whatever, ya fuckin’ hippie.
Lemme vomit some verbiage at ya for a sec. There are two tracks on here by an artist named D-MonyK. I’m almost 100% certain that this podcast is literally the only place you’ll hear them. Dude seems to have completely disappeared off the internet, or else didn’t have much of a presence there as D-MonyK in the first place. Anyway, I have a special place in my heart for his stuff ‘cause he’s the guy who gave me my lower lip spikes back in 2-thousand-fuckin’-5. He was doin’ light body mod stuff out of his apartment. Is that illegal? Anyway, my friend Bekah and I (she introduced us) got some stuff pierced to help him pay his bills, and shit, I’ve loved my mods every day since. This edition is actually chock the fuck full of some classic fuckin’ aggro EDM between breakcore, hardstyle, speedcore, and whatever the fuck Defrag and Otto Von Schirach are. Some of these dudes are basically their own genre, which is fuckin’ awesome to me. Not even like it’s particularly difficult ‘cause all you have to do is produce a broad range of stuff, but to be as fuckin’ excellent at it all as these guys are? My utmost fuckin’ respect.
Moving on, lots of phenomenal fuckin’ metal in this. Some of these songs have been favorites of mine since the early fuckin’ 90s before I was even able to cream my jeans, before some of my best friends were even born. That’s right, muthafuckas, I’m an elder millenial, get off me. The live Metallica cover of Anti-Nowhere League’s, “So What,” was a huge delight in my childhood, and remains such throughout my so-called adulthood. I’d never heard anyone say such so-called profanity before, since I’d only gotten into fuckin’ Jefferson Starship, Vanilla Ice, Michael Jackson and shit like that up to that point. My parents bought me the Live Shit: Binge and Purge boxset for Xmas that year, and they actually asked me, “So that’s all the Metallica you’ll ever need, right? You’ve got it all now?” It’s difficult to imagine them actually being serious about that, but I wouldn’t put it past them. Besides, comprehensive discography boxsets definitely exist, and maybe they thought that’s what they were getting me.
This edition also features the very first song I ever assembled. I say assembled ‘cause it’s all premade loops & samples. Actually took me all fuckin’ month to get it exactly the way I wanted it, and I would likely never do a track all premade like that again unless I was feeling exceptionally lazy or I was going for something intentional for whatever reason. Anyway, moving on, be sure to listen the fuck up during the longer, 9-minute-plus tracks. Lye by Mistake, Venetian Snares and Astral Projection all deserve your attention in my opinion, and I sincerely hope you’ll agree. Actually, I just realized the Astral Projection track is a significantly shorter cut for the compilation I took it from. The original is over 13 minutes long, but both are plenty fucktacular. I included a Slayer track because, well, I don’t have it in me to exclude a track as fuckin’ punishing as Disciple from my repertoire even if Tom Arraya’s politics are… unenlightened at best. Still tickles the fuck out of me that the dude’s actually Catholic, talkin’ ‘bout “god hates us all,” and then saying, “god doesn’t hate anyone.”
Deacon Boombastardizer, I haven’t heard anything from that dude in well over a decade, but I also haven’t searched all too extensively. That might be another case where this podcast is literally the only place to find his stuff. Same might be true of Daiquiri and is deeeefinitely true of Wait Until Dark all the way at the end. The former is a Canadian group that I haven’t heard a peep from since 2005, but they might still be active; I’m not sure. Wait Until Dark is a band I did photography for way back in the day ‘cause I worked with the guitarist at CD World even wayer back in the day. Still love the fuck out of the song I included, and it’s got a lovely surprise at the end. I think it’s a fitting conclusion to this epic fuckin’ collection right here.

Hwhat the effeweseekay is skyward, mother & fathereffeweseekayers?! Emo-goddamn-sonofacunt-clew to the Too True Few Who Knew the New Queue in ’22 Edition of Monday Morning Aural effeweseekayin’ Sex! Why am I like this? Who the fuck knows, amiright? So, what could the title of this edition possibly be about? Well, it has nothing to do with unicorn nipples, so I apologize if I mislead you. This is simply a goofy-ass way to repackage my new shit editions under something other than “Send Newds,” ‘cause I have a feeling that shit was getting me shadow-banned on the so-called social medias on the internets and the Googles. Besides that, I’d rather not keep posting pictures of spaghettified hentai. It was amusing at first, but after 11 editions, I’m kinda over it. Muthafucka’s gotta evolve or something at some point, right? Right.
So, rapid fire, let me expel some more noise from my face hole about some of these here tracks right here. Twin Temple is a group my friend Renee introduced me to, so shout the fuck out right here and now. All I’ma say is “Satanic Doo-Wop.” Let the yojne take care of the rest. We’ve got new jams from Wevlth, M-Project, Berried Alive, Zardonic, Ruby My Dear, Ho99o9, Extra Terra, Meshuggah, Excision, Ekoh, S3RL, Stabbing Westward, Seven Lions, and oh my Fuck, all of ‘em are sexy as 20 fucks vacuum-compressed into a latex bodybag built for one. Let ‘em the fuck out before they suffocate! That’s right, go driving down a highway somewhere and open your fuckin’ windows in the 10 degree winter weather and freeze your genitals off to appropriately express your appreciation for these musical stylings. That’s what freedom’s all about, right? ‘Murica.
Some seexy-ass video game remixes in this muthafucka as well. The very first track, in fact, is a remix of Final Fantasy menu music, there’s a Lo-Fi version of a Secret of Mana track, and keep your ears peeled for the Fairy Fountain jam. It’s got some colour bass flavor and sort of hip-hop/pop fusion vocals. Pretty cool if ya ask me. Also some badass fuckin’ metal in this one from Erra, Architects, Amaranthe (and oh, this remix of PvP is fucktacular. I played the original a few months back, and I think I like the remix even more.), Caliban, Meshuggah, Sylvaine, and I’m not sure if you could count Darkher, but Darkher could definitely fit well on any Through Niflheim to Valhalla Edition. Pretty sure I’ve included them before, actually.
The group that ends this edition called O Testemunho, I included this 5 ½ minute jam of theirs because the one that I found on my Release Radar playlist was almost 30 fuckin’ minutes long. It was like a whole-ass lecture from Alan Watts about Taoism set against some ambient, goa type music. Pretty dreamy shit, actually. I yojned it, but 30 minutes is too damn long to ask anyone to sustain their attention span. Actually, there are quite a few long tracks on this edition. Probably why it’s only 44 tracks instead of the usual 50-60. FYI, I’m always extra careful when selecting longer tracks out of consideration for y’all’s attention spans. Ya know, ‘cause if a track doesn’t hit ya and it’s only 2-3 minutes, it doesn’t feel like as bad of a waste of time or whatever. Oh, and apparently the Above & Beyond track is like a decade old or more, but some DJ just used it in a mix, and it got put in my Release Radar. I try to never use the mixed versions ‘cause the beginnings and endings are always abrupt, so I went and grabbed the extended mix. I almost always go for the extended mixes when it comes to trance, and most other genres whenever available. I feel like those are the most accurate representation of the tracks, likely how the producer best envisioned the ideas implemented in the music.
Lastly, let me say about Crass, I know they’re an acquired taste. I’ve yojned pretty much everything I’ve heard from them (and 65daysofstatic, for that matter), and I thought this remix was interesting. I’ve encountered a handful of EDM-ish remixes of old punk tracks, and I’ve found them all pretty interesting at the very least. I yojne the fuck out of electronic punk acts like Death Set, Ho99o9, Death Tour, Scythe Gang 666 (although they might be more like punk trap, IDFK), and I’m eager to see if this fusion genre gains more traction. Can’t fuckin’ wait to go to a show like that. Lastlier, let me add that I’ma probably love everything I hear from Zardonic. Every single track I’ve heard has been a fire-ass banger, so expect to see more of their stuff in the future. Lastliest, holy fuckadoodle, the bass stabs in the Cosmic Gate track make me melt into a puddle of Paul goo. Sounds hot, right? It is…
