Aaayyyy! What the fuck is up, my spooperts and spoopalitties?! That’s a combination of spoopy & perverts/pervalitties. Yojne that little addition to your psyche. Emo-sun-of-a-cunting-clew to the 5th volume of the Witch-rowave Trap-House Edition of Monday Mornin’ Aural mutha.fuckin’ Sex! So fuckin’ excited to share this stuff this week. For those who are somehow unaware of Witch-rowave Trap-House and yet are listening to the 5th installment of it, it’s just an orgiastic portmanteau I came up with for these editions which are centered around Witch House, Witch Trap, & Retrowave/Synthwave/Yourdaddonkeypunchedyourmomwave and so on. Some of these tunes legit make me horny as fuck, and fuck is pretty fuckin’ horny, like Black Philip livin’ deliciously in this bitch. Specifically, the first two tracks by Elon Dust & Megan McDuffee respectively, and the ∆aimon track called Amen. All sorts of sexiness presents itself in my head during those tracks.
The Elon Dust track, between the silky fuckin’ vocals affectionately caressing your ear drums and that powerful sawtooth bass synth that sends chills through my veins… I’ve played this one a number of times before ‘cause I really can’t get enough of it. That was another random Instagram find, bee-tee-fuckin’-dubs. When I first heard Megan McDuffee’s cover of Muse’s, “Time Is Running Out,” I was a little hesitant, but good lord did she do a great job with it. A thousand times sexier than the original, even though the original was never meant to be that way. Finally, Amen sounds like the soundtrack to some freaky-ass dungeon fuckin’, and I’m 100% here for it.
I’m also here for ∆XIUS LIИK’s cover of t.A.T.u.’s Nas Ne Degonyat (probably butchered that spelling, but yeah). That cover is fire, and you’re about to hear for yourselves. Plus, ∆XIUS LIИK and the utterly bananas way they stylize their name, album & track titles. Can’t wait to see how my car stereo attempts to read those characters. Nothing like ††† by ††† off the ††† album, though. That’s just literally blank in every field. I’ve mentioned that before, no doubt. Fuck you, okay? It’s difficult enough to be amused in this late-stage capitalist hellscape; let me have some shit to laugh about. Speaking of †††, one of their new tracks to look forward to here. If you haven’t seen the videos to their new singles, I highly recommend you extract your thumb from your anus and look ‘em up. Anyway, moving on, I’ma go ahead and say that Sidewalks and Skeletons are clearly kings and/or queens of the witch house genre. Pretty sure it’d be fucking impossible to delve into witch house in any decent measure without encountering their stuff, even if just a collaboration.
Just in case you might be skeptical of that claim (which would be maniacally hilarious to me), there are 9 fuckin’ tracks that bear the name Sidewalks and Skeletons on this podcast. I chose 30 witch house and 30 retrowave tracks, so S&S comprises almost a third of the whole thing in some degree or another. With good reason though, I mean, they’re fuckin’ awesome. It’s just amusing how many times I encounter their name whenever I delve into witch house for these editions. Clearly prolific as fuck, or procreation, I guess. Anyway, movin’ on… I was also pretty skeptical of that For Whom The Bell Tolls cover at first, but wow, I was pleasantly surprised. Hope you will be too.
That version of Moonlight $onata, btw? Actually has brostep breakdowns in it. I almost didn’t include it, but it’s still a pretty tasty synthwave version of that classic tune. Apparently, synthstep is kind of a thing. Not much of one, but definitely a thing. Yet another thing I’m here for. Anyway, I could go on for-fuckin’-ever if I let myself. I’ma just say again that the more tracks I’ve included from particular artists, the more emphatically I recommend you delve into their material for yourselves. With the exception of †††, because you all should already be avid fans of †††, and if you’re not, alas, I have failed you. Shit, I’ve only been playing them for nearly the entire fuckin’ span of this podcast. If you don’t like †††, I think you might be against the idea of pleasure altogether, and I don’t need that kind of negativity in my life. No one does.
Anyway, as y’all can see, I used another of Akunohako’s Neon Witch pictures for this edition. Seriously, you all should check out his stuff on Artstation. He’s phenomenally talented in my opinion, and deserves support wherever possible. All that done did and fuckin’ said, we have now reached the point of the podcast where we ascend to the holiest realms of purest yojne.

What fuck up is the, perverinos and pervalitties? It’s been a minute since we’ve conversified, hasn’t it? Hey, what better time to re-post a Memorial Day Edition than 10 years later literally on Memorial Day? Anyway, emo-mutha-booty-lickin’-clew to the Ooh, The New Blue Gnu & Ewe Flew Through To Do Kangaroo Screw Goo Tattoos in '22 Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! Yup, another new shit edition, because literally every time I go looking for awesome new music, guess what? I fuckin’ find it. Not ‘cause I’m some awesome music finder or some shit, just ‘cause I keep a wide open mind and I take advantage of the curated playlists on Spotify. Ain’t even about Spotify or any one service, though. You can find awesome new shit all over the place. One of my favorite breakcore artists to this day is a dude named BLÆRG, and all I did to find him was type, “breakcore,” into the search field of Amazon.
One of my highest hopes is that, even if y’all don’t bother with this lil podcast of mine, that you remain curious to discover, to explore & learn about new music, and shit, pretty much whatever interests you for that matter. Personally, I think curiosity is a fountain of youth. You manage to retain or reawaken that childlike curiosity that adulthood tends to diminish? Life can feel like a buffet, even if the outside world feels like an onslaught of bullshit & nonsense.
Any-fuckin’-way, I’ve got what some might find to be a treat in store for y’all. Instead of rambling over a bunch of random tracks & artists in this intro, I’m just gonna skip it. I was thinking of doing all that rambling between tracks, but honestly, it’s a fuckton of work writing, recording and editing opinions on 4 hours worth of music, and I personally prefer the uninterrupted flow from track to track. Also, I’d love to be able to get to sleep this week sometime before the fuckin’ afternoon for a change. However, if by some magical like, monkeys flying out my ass chance you’re curious why I chose this or that track, where I found them, what I had for fuckin’ dinner or some shit, feel free to fuckin’ ask.
Anyway, kicking things off right, we’ve got a SWARM track called The End of All Things. According to a post on his IG story, this track went through something like 40+ iterations before he settled on this one. No idea to what extents the iterations significantly differed from the others, but that still sounds like quite a process.
All that done did & said, let us commence, ze muthafuckin’ yojne!

Happy Monday, my muthafuckin' gorgeous perverts out there in Pervtopia. It's Memorial Day and this is the 1st part of the 2 part Memorial Day Edition of Monday Morning Aural Sex. Mind you, I would've said "Happy Memorial Day," but... um... hello? No. I mean, if you can manage to have a happy day in spite of full knowledge of what this holiday actually represents, then congratulations. I imagine that most people don't even bother to think about it, though. Far too depressing a topic, especially if you have a day off from work like I do, right? Right. Pathetic, if you ask me, but nobody's askin' me except me. It's all good, though. I keep asking myself questions and keep finding answers and expressing that shit through mediums like these. You oughta give that a try sometime. So yeah, Memorial Day. A day that commemorates (or at least, it's supposed to) commemorates the massive losses of life of men and women who've died in service to this country.
I, however, would like to expand the holiday's commemoration to include loss of human life everywhere, not just American life. It's really sad that anyone anywhere still feels any need to engage in wars. When you realize that it's all because one side believes differently (or has different ideas) than the other side, you start wondering why the fuck people can't just sit down and chat in an effort to reach some sort of understanding. What I think is that when these world leaders have some stupid fuckin' disagreement, put them in a rowboat in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by a naval blockade, and give 'em two swords. Either they'll talk it out with words, or they'll reach for their swords and fuckin' kill each other. Either way, it's not the fuckin' end of the world. Plenty of different leaders have come and gone and we as people have managed to keep going. I'd even venture to ask why we need leaders at all, but I'm aware of how much people abuse their freedom.
I suppose it's just a matter of convenience. Abusing your freedom, sticking your head in the sand, is really easy when you live a comfortable life. But shit's happening every day that involves you whether you realize it or like it or not. Ignorance is a luxury that fewer and fewer people can afford. I suggest you start paying attention before this shit ends up knocking on your front door. But you know, do what you want. Just a suggestion. Without any further ado, enjoy the Memorial Day Edition of Monday Morning Aural Sex!

Part 3 is upon us, motherfuckers and motherfuckerettes! This will be the last one in this little trilogy that Al and I have done, but there may be something new in the works to continue this collaborative effort. Next week will be a more standard, far less conversational edition, so I hope whomever has listened has yojned the fuck & shit out of all these. If you have, for the love of fuck, let me know. I seldom ever get feedback on any of these editions, but I cherish that which I have received. It’s truly a gift to me to know even one person other than me bothered to listen. Even if they ended up hating everything I picked, at least they were curious enough to give it a fuckin’ whirl.
I won’t yammer on any longer here except to say that I included 2 super extra ultimate gourmet reacharound songs that Al and I forgot to comment on, but they’ve been lurking in the wings since we began this effort. Neither of them are available on Spotify, and when we recorded our commentary, we used a Spotify playlist aaaand these two just fuckin’ slipped our minds.
Anyway, ontooooo the yojne!

Osmium is all…
All is osmium…
(Bro… hang on a sec, stop chanting, hold up)
(What’s up, man? Everything alright?)
(No, dude. This motherfuckin’ host of ours is a fuckin’ trainwreck.)
(What makes you say that?)
(Well, first of all, look at what he’s got us doin’ right now.)
(Yeah, what’s wrong with it?)
(What’s wrong with it? Are you serious? What fuckin’ sense does this shit make? Have you been followin’ along this whole Osmium saga of his?)
(No, not really. I just hit Like on his posts if I ever see them on my Insta feed.)
(Alright, well, check this out: this motherfucker posted a couple osmium-related editions around when he first got this podcast started. Fine, whatever, right? Then, he posted 6 in a row over the span of a month and some change. Dude went alphabetically through his metal collection and came out with 6 editions. A little much maybe, but I could hang.)
(You goin’ somewhere with all this, bro?)
(Motherfucker, you got a bus to catch or some shit? Have you forgotten that we’re disembodied voices in some fuckhead’s head? Or, whatever, we’re fuckin’ absorbed into the almighty Osmium, a collective hive mind entity or some shit that again, only exists in the diseased imagination of this one Fuckhead McDoodoobrain?)
(…Fuckhead McDoodoobrain?)
(Shut up, motherfucker. You’re so clever, you think of some shit to say.)
(I mean, I would, but you were in the middle of a rant and I was listening.)
(No you weren’t, dickhead! You interrupted me!)
(Ughhhh, fine! Fuck, I’m sorry alright? Is that what you want to hear?)
(Bro, I don’t wanna fight.)
(I don’t wanna fight either! That’s why I’m apologizing.)
(And I accept your apology.)
(Alright. Sorry I interrupted, continue with your rant.)
(Okay, so at this point, this dude’s posted a total of 10 osmium/metal podcast editions, unless you count the tiny metal edition.)
(Ooo, I fuckin’ love that one. That was hilarious.)
(Yo, right? My man actually sat through that entire fuckin’ thing. Gotta give it up to him for that. Anyway, so he’s at 10 or 11, aaaand then after damn near a 3-year hiatus, he posts “Osmium-X…”)
(Ahh, so, what, that should have been 11 or 12 instead of X?)
(Yeah, but this motherfucker must’ve miscounted or just didn’t think anyone would notice. Who the fuck knows with this dude?)
(Well, that’s only one mistake. You’re not really mad about that, are you?)
(Bro, if only that’s where the madness stopped… Know what he posted after X?)
(What?)
(20…)
(20?)
(20…)
(Umm…)
(Yeah.)
(Why?)
(‘Cause of the whole pandemic bullshit those idiot humans went through.)
(Wow…)
(Yeah. No one ever gave this dude his clever trophy, and he’s been thirstin’ for one all his life.)
(Well, still, I dunno. I can’t hate on the guy for that.)
(Just you wait, motherfucker. There’s more.)
(More?)
(Yup.)
(Fuck, what else did he do?)
(After 20, later that year, he posted Osmium 11…)
(…are you fuckin’ serious?)
(Yeah, man.)
(What the actual fuck?!)
(This man is clearly not to be trusted around heavy machinery.)
(And the dude drives for a living…)
(I know, right?)
(Geez, now I’m starting to see what you mean.)
(Oh, there’s more.)
(What the fuck? How?)
(Know what he did after 11? Well, 13, of course.)
(…)
(I know.)
(So, let me get this straight: X should have been 11 or 12, 20 should have been 12 or 13, 11 should have been 13 or 14, and 13 should have been 14 or 15?)
(That sounds about right, but woe betide thee who try and understandith Fuckheadism.)
(Heh, I like that one.)
(Right? Me too. So finally, this dude is about to post this podcast and call it 14, thus perpetuating the incorrect edition numbering. But! but-but-but-but-but-but-but-but-but-but-but-but…)
(*slap*)
(Shit, thanks, I got stuck there for a sec. Anyway, he caught himself, and now it’s 15. At long last, the fuckheadery has been corrected.)
(So, I guess the tiny metal edition wasn’t really an osmium edition in the end?)
(No, Timmy, it seems not.)
(My name’s not fuckin’ Timmy, douchebag.)
(Wait… It’s not? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH TIMMY?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!)
(DUDE, CHILL OUT! I CAN BE TIMMY!)
(IT’S NOT THE SA-A-A-A-A-A-M-E! TIMMY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y!)
Moth-er-fuck-er-s! Emo-son-of-a-Jesus-Cheez-Wiz-jizzin’-Christ-clew to the fuckin’ 15th installment of the Osmium series (because let’s be fuckin’ real here, this has been a series since 20-fuckin’-12): Osmium Is All, All Is Osmium Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! That’s right, number 15, right on schedule. No numerical conflicts whatsoever on the road to this number, no sir-ee Bob. I promise I won’t yammer on too much here ‘cause I already have, and we have a whole lot of additional yammering ahead of us. What does that mean? That means that my good buddy Al and I compiled this together, and we recorded bits of us commenting and conversing between 3-song blocks. As usual when I co-host, I alternate between my tracks and theirs, but this time, I wanted it to be a fully equal number of contributed tracks.
The last edition Al and I did together, I had something like 16 additional tracks left at the end, and this edition in its earliest form was absolutely no exception. I think I originally told him 25-30; he came up with 24, which woulda been fine, but this is fucking osmium and I’m me. Osmium has always been a series that I go entirely too HAM on, and before my fuckin’ penis could whistle Jack Robinson, I ended up compiling 58 fucking tracks. I begrudgingly subtracted 14, but that still meant Al had to come up with an additional 19 or 20. He did, because he’s Awesome Al The Punani Obliterator, but because of this semi-new conversational format I’m doing with him (or just trying to do this around our work schedules and such), we often found ourselves strapped for time as we kind of needed to listen to each track in each other’s presence.
Seeing as listening to 88 tracks and commenting on them all takes a long fucking time (let alone fuckin’ 116 if I had included the 14 I subtracted along with whatever other 14 I would have him pick out), we had to just work on it whenever we had time, whenever we reasonably could. Let me tell ya, we’ve been at this shit for almost a full month now, and we’re finally almost done, but he and I could go on to make a part 3, a part 4, etc. There are still those fabled 14 subtracted tracks just sitting in limbo somewhere on my computer, and there are certainly no shortage of additional tracks I could throw in.
Speaking of other parts (*unzips*)… No, no, put that away. I meant other parts of the podcast, you silly fuckin’ perverts. Anyway, speaking of other parts, part 2 should be ready as a steady mani-pedi on a thready yeti teddy eating spaghetti by next week at the latest. Maybe even part 3? Oooo, guess you’ll just have to fuckin’ wait and see. Bee-tee-fuckin’-dubya, iTunes says this first part is a paltry 3 hours and 41 minutes long (no doubt considerably longer after I record this asinine fucking intro), and normally that would be unacceptable for any osmium edition in this newer, most magnificently excessive era of Monday Morning Aural Sex, but Part 2 is around 4 hours of music alone, let alone however long our commentary & conversation ends up being. Part 2 might itself be split up so that Part 3 can have its time in the spotlight, but again, guess you’ll just have to fuckin’ wait and see, ‘cause even I don’t know myself. Frankly, the extents to which I’ve mismanaged this endeavor are astonishing to me, and all I can do at this moment is laugh at myself. Ha-ha-fuckin’-ha. Whatever, I’ll try to do better next time.
Look at me, I said I wasn’t gonna yammer on long. Meanwhile, 4 enormous fucking paragraphs later… Anyway, I hope y’all motherfuckers truly yojne this shit. A lot more effort was put into this than was ever truly necessary (which basically sums up this entire fucking podcast of mine), so I hope this semi-new format tickles your twat lips or gonads a smidgen.
All that muthafuckin’ shit done muthafuckin’ said and muthafuckin’ done again, we now, commence, ze yojne.

2022-04-25 (All-Star Series: Free Dominguez Edition)
Monday Apr 25, 2022
Monday Apr 25, 2022
Eff you see kay the what is up, mother-, father-, second-cousin-once-removed-fuckers?! Emo-muthafuckin’-clew to another installment of the All-Star Series, the Free Dominguez Edition! “Free who? Who’s Dominguez, and why does he/she/it need freeing?” you may so unculturedly ask? Free Dominguez is the phenomenal vocalist behind the epic industrial rock act Kidneythieves! She also has a number of albums under her own name, feature appearances on a number of similar artists’ albums, and even a little cameo on the Metal Gear Rising Revengeance soundtrack. Sadly, I think the only track that many people may know of Kidneythieves is Before I’m Dead which played at the end of Queen of the Damned. Good fuckin’ lord, they’re so much more than that. Don’t get me wrong, that’s a flawless fuckin’ track, and it’s from the flawless album Zerøspace, but I’d be willing to bet money that anyone who enjoyed that would find tons more to love in their catalog.
Her solo stuff is more folk/indie rock, so there likely be a bit of a divergence in audience appeal from the Kidneythieves fans. Y’all know me though; I like anything that makes me feel something, and Free Dominguez has had me allll up in my feels countless times through the past two decades that I’ve been a fan. I actually first discovered them on an Alternative Press sampler CD which had S + M (A Love Song) on it. Most likely the radio edit, too. Kind of amusing to think of that track ever being played on terrestrial radio considering the lyrics, “Pound the love out of me, beat the love out of me,” and such. Fantastic song to fuck to, bee tee dubs.
Actually, a good portion of Kidneythieves tracks are prominently featured on my Sexy Time playlist on Spotify. As I recently said on a post of mine on Facebook, that playlist certainly isn’t everything it could be. My Fuckfest podcasts have shitloads more fucktastic stuff on them, and between all the chill-out, synthwave, witch house, goth/industrial and miscellaneous other fuckable music I’ve played on this podcast, shiiiiiiit, that Sexy Time playlist could potentially be days fuckin’ long. I don’t know if any of y’all out there have that kind of stamina, but I sure as fuck do not. Not to say I wouldn’t give it the old college try, but fuck, perhaps I ought to actually get back to talking about Free and Kidneythieves.
Apropos to fucking and Kidneythieves, Zerøspace is actually on in the background of one of my favorite sex tapes I’ve ever made. Truly, the difference between fucking and making love can simply be the music playing during the act, and that album can have you going back and forth seamlessly between the two. Anyway, I got to see Kidneythieves open for KMFDM a bajillion years ago, and I got to have a poster signed by them. I wish I’d enjoyed them then to the degree that I do now, ‘cause I certainly would have had much more to say. That signed poster isn’t even my favorite poster of theirs I own. When Kidneythieves released their EP The Invisible Plan, they had this badass glow-in-the-dark poster with a bunch of circuitry design all over it. Still one of my absolute favorite posters I own overall. If I recall correctly, that EP actually came in a biodegradable sleeve that had flower seeds embedded in it or something. I’m guessing that was the invisible plan? I dunno, but I thought it was a pretty awesome idea.
Speaking of Kidneythieves EPs, y’all most observant of perverts might notice that I only included one track from Phi in the Sky. Fraaaankly, I’m not a huge fan of the remixes on that. They really just didn’t raise the bar on any of the originals, and some were considerable steps down. I dunno. I don’t hate them or anything; I guess it’s just that if there’s something there, I haven’t found it yet, so we only have the one for this edition. Even still, I maintain that the original album version is better, but this one remix has some interesting melodic ideas. Speaking of remixes and such, you’ll definitely notice a number of remixes and variations on here along with the originals. In the cases of all those, I think they’re both absolutely beautiful and worthy of all our attention. I’ve separated the different versions just to keep shit fresh through the course of this edition, but I highly recommend you A/B compare & contrast for yourselves on your streaming service of choice.
As far as features go, I was delightfully surprised to learn that Free had done backing vocals on a couple Zeromancer tracks waaaay back in the day on their album Clone Your Lover. I’ve liked Zeromancer for about as long as I’ve loved Kidneythieves, but of course, there are pertinent differences between like and love. Frankly, the only Zeromancer album I know well enough to converse on it is Eurotrash. I wasn’t nearly as impressed with their other albums, but that’s not their problem. As I said before, if there’s something there, maybe I’m just missing it. That’s a far greater possibility than the music itself having anything wrong with it.
Anyway, Free also guested on a KMFDM track (because of course she did), a Conjure One track (nice), and a Beat Ventriloquists track. KMFDM and Beat Ventriloquists have both done a number of Kidneythieves remixes over the years, all good stuff, and Conjure One is kind of more in line with Free’s solo stuff. All those guest apperances however… meh. They’ve all done better work elsewhere, in my opinion. Again, nothing against Free, nothing against the artists, they just didn’t hit me hard enough to warrant inclusion in this edition. Feel free to check ‘em out yourselves if by some wacky-ass miracle you’re actually curious. Maybe I’ll go back to listen to them again someday and realize how full of shit I was; certainly wouldn’t be the first time.
Lastly, let me just call out a number of especially significant tracks here: Before I’m Dead (obviously), Pretty, Crazy (which was written and popularized by Patsy Cline and Willie Nelson respectively, believe it or not. Not too often you see an industrial rock band covering country tracks, let alone doing it so fuckin’ well), Serene Dream, S + M (A Love Song) (because that’s the first track I heard of theirs), Creature, Dyskrasia, Zerøspace, Silver Line (both the original and Static mix), and K. Those are some of my tippy top favorites right there.
Lastlier, I’d like to mention that once upon a time, Free put out a 5 song EP called Core: A Zone on iTunes, and all the files were m4ps; basically mp3s but with DRM bullshit encoding on them. DRM stands for Digital Rights Management. That means that you’re only allowed to listen to those files using iTunes, and only on certain authorized computers. There are two tracks on there that as far as I know haven’t appeared on any of her other releases, and what’s super shitty is that I haven’t yet been able to get around that DRM to actually be able to listen to them in all the years since I bought it. I think I probably listened to the EP once shortly after I bought it, but haven’t been able to since. To be fair, I haven’t spent a whole lot of time trying, but I shouldn’t fucking have to. All this just to say, fuck DRM. Fuck DRM in its stupid fucking DRMey ass.
All that silly bullshit done did and said, let us commence ze yojne!

Up the what is fuck, muthafuckaaas?! Emo-muthafuckin’-clew to The New Blue Gnu Blew the Jiujitsu Ewe Crew Coup to You Who Accrue Zoo Glue in '22 Edition of Monday Morning Aural fuckin’ Sex! Of course you motherfuckers know what’s up by now with these bizarrely-named editions. It’s just new shit! Yes, most of it is brand-spankin’-that-ass new, whether in artist, track, or to this podcast. Not only that, Lord Jesus McFartyfuckpants, we have over 5 fuckin’ hours of it ahead of us, and by “we,” and, “us,” I mean, “I,” and, “me.” ‘Cause come on, me, nobody gives half a fossilized chinchilla turd what shit you’ve been listening to lately. Know what though? These are still some of my favorite kinds of editions I put together, because they’re the most accurate reflections of how music reaches my own tender little earholes. Truthishly, the themed editions are more concessions to my already barely-existent audience than things I just put together for my own pleasure, because (as if it’s not already nakedly fuckin’ evident) I believe variety is the spice of fuckin’ life.
That’s why so many of these jams that are featured in these types of editions end up featured again in themed ones. Most all of them deserve multiple listens, and since I have a pretty strong suspicion that people generally prefer the themed editions, I try to leave room in those for these. Of course there are plenty that I chock full of new shit too, but I digress. This isn’t all just shit I found last night, either. No indeed, I’ve been accumulating new shit ever since the last new shit edition via YouTube, Insta and various stuff sent to me by friends, which I’ll call out a little later. But yeah, believe it or not, Instagram started inundating me in my feed with ads from bands & individual musicians, and most all that I’ve spent the time to check out have definitely been well worthwhile. I’ll mention which ones a little later, too.
Check it out, I even found one of these tracks from a softcore porn video I was watching… for no reason whatsoever. Yeah, many years ago, I downloaded a shitload of videos from a site called Cosplay Erotica. They all have music playing over them, and most of it is just sonic wallpaper from anything I heard, but this one track by DJ Rx actually stood out. So, I stopped… doing absolutely nothing whatsoever specifically so I could Shazam the song, and it turned out that Shazam didn’t have a fuckin’ clue. My next avenue was Googling the lyrics, but even that was a dead end for the most part until I finally stumbled upon the track I was looking for like a half an hour later. What’s fuckin’ stupid to me is that it’s not even the first time I’ve done some shit like that. Any of you fuckin’ filthy-ass perverts remember the songs I discovered through fuckin’ Cock Hero? Yeah, those tracks still have a special place in my cock… I mean heart. Eh, same shit.
To elaborate further on this already mildly uncomfortable topic, this is one of the reasons why going to strip clubs kinda pisses me off. 9 times out of 10, I’ll end up focusing more on the music playing than the booty buffet before me, and the tracks that a girl dances to will typically determine whether I get a dance from her. Listen, I’m mostly disinterested in the whole scene as it is, but if all I’m hearin’ is basic bullshit being played, ain’t no way I’m feelin’ inspired to make it rain on anyone. To this day, I remember dances I got from girls who danced to dubstep, Deftones & A Perfect Circle, Slipknot, etc. More to the point, that takes fuckin’ guts to dance to music that most of the so-called clientele has no idea about, ‘cause I’m pretty confident that I’m not the only one who decides on dances that way. Also, in case I’ve never stated it publicly on this podcast, sex work is most definitely work. Not only are the sex workers I know some of the most fantastic human beings ever to grace the rotting bowels of this miserable society, but they deserve both protection and respect for the crucial services they provide.
Any-fuckin’-way, I should probably move on and talk about the actual fuckin’ music at some point, eh? Let’s see… First of all, shout out to my friend Shy for the David Garrett version of Darude’s classic dance track, “Sandstorm.” Shout out to my friend Bekah too, ‘cause I’m always reminded of her when I think of that song since she hates it so much. Slim to nil chance either one of them will ever see or hear those shout outs, but they’re there just in case. Shout out to Renee (who actually does listen fairly regularly) for the fantastic Royal & the Serpent tracks. I could have sworn I heard of them before, but knowing myself as I do, I definitely would have put them on a podcast long before this one.
Shout out to my roommate Josh too, who inadvertently directed my attention to Brujeria when Brujerizmo was played during Ozark. I heard of them ages ago, but never listened to them ’til then. Also, special shout out to my boy Al, ‘cause we’ve been working on a new Osmium edition for the past two weeks. We’ve actually been conversing, trading notes and such on the various blocks of tracks we’ve assembled, and that’s a format I’ve never done. I used to speak in-between blocks, and my friend Cat chimed in periodically after I’d introduced her, but this is conversational all throughout. I’m really hoping y’all yojne the fuck out of that when I finally finish it, ‘cause it sure has been a pain in the cock working around our individual work schedules and such. We’ve actually got enough compiled for two more Osmium editions, so we’ll see whether the second gets made in the same format or something more streamlined.
Let’s see… what else? Well, the artists I found through Instagram ads and listened to either on YouTube or Spotify are Trench, Ferris Blusa, Cat Breath, ROMES, Kanonenfieber, Maggie Lindemann (I think, and I’m super curious if there’s any relation to Till from Rammstein), Afterdusk, Alice Glass (although I know she was in Crystal Castles and I’m super late to that particular party), The Curse of K.K. Hammond, Railgun, Adimiron, Cranes, Mafia Birdhouse, Bernth, Nowhere Left, Down Again, and (fucking finally) Mad Lollypop. Y’all see this problem I clearly have? I s’pose one could call it a form of FOMO, but I dunno, I don’t really fear missing out on it all; I’m just a super fuckin’ curious person, and obviously, music is one of my greatest passions. Shit, it’s one of the reasons I continue to draw breath on this ridiculous fuckin’ planet, so maybe don’t fuck with it. K? K.
All that said… let me say some fuckin’ more! Don’t fuckin’ worry, I’ll try to speed it up ‘cause this is already gettin’ to be a Tolstoy of a fuckin’ intro. Let’s go top to bottom here. Another flawless fuckin’ remix from Zardonic in this bitch! Yojne the fuck AND the shit out of that one. YONAKA was a delightful random find that Spotify tossed to me based on its similarity to Royal & the Serpent. Y’all see how fuckin’ easy it is to branch out from the shit you know already? I did it there with literally zero effort. Get off the fuckin’ couch music every once in a while or you’re gonna wake up one day with your flesh fuckin’ fused to that motherfucker. Shout out to fuckin’ Nip/Tuck for that one episode. New ††† tracks! Yeah, that’s fuckin’ right! I’m seriously starting to think Chino is King fuckin’ Midas in this bitch, ‘cause everything the man touches is fuckin’ gold. Yo, I found an EDM remix of the fuckin’ GameCube intro. Doesn’t that sound fuckin’ cool? Listen on and find out for your damn selves!
The Kanonenfieber track and the Gareth Emery & Omnia collaboration are about the war in Ukraine, in case y’all might be even moderately curious. The Sigue Sigue Sputnik track isn’t; I know that track from the Ferris Bueller soundtrack, but for whatever reason, I never hunted it down ’til recently. That fuckin’ Converge track? Holy cuntcicles, that track is brutal as 10 fucks on a tricycle built for 2. Pretty sure that shit doesn’t even exist, so just imagine how much brutality is packed in that motherfucker. Access To Arasaka is an IDM artist (as far as I can tell) similar to Cat Breath. IDM (which stands for intelligent dance music… I don’t really know fuckin’ why) is a criminally underrepresented genre on this podcast, and while I’ve played plenty of breakcore, IDM is like breakcore’s more mellow brother or something. I’d classify most of Aphex Twin’s stuff as IDM.
Anyway, moving on… a fuckin’ remix of the Thomas The Tank Engine theme by dj-Jo?! Shit, I’m all the way down. I’ve played plenty of dj-Jo’s jams over the years, especially after his remix of Tokyo Ghoul’s theme song annihilated my ear sphincters. Another CORPSE jam in here for us. Really lovin’ all the stuff I’ve heard from him, and that gruff vocal style overall. I’ve been really lovin’ the screamy hip-hop I’ve been finding lately too, so the more the better. A new Otto Von Schirach track for us all, too! Otto’s a looooong time favorite of mine. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him perform thrice so far, and every time has been such a treat. The dude is basically his own genre along with another guy named Doormouse, and they’re friends & collaborators. Anyone who’s ever heard my breakcore-themed editions ought to know those two magnificent motherfuckers.
Always lovely to see a new Catnapp jam grace the podcast, as well. I heard of Catnapp when she worked with Otto on a track a few years prior, and I’ve enjoyed pretty much everything I’ve heard from her. Another flawless fuckin’ t+pazolite track here for us. Starting to think about t+pazolite as I think of Chino, being Midas and all. I can’t recall a single mediocre t+pazolite track, so yojne the fuck out of this one and then listen to all the rest of his stuff. There’ll be a test later. That Architects track, Little Wonder? This is basically the orchestral version of the original. Pretty sure the original is one of the first Architects tracks I ever heard, too. Another lovely proggy jam by Animals As Leaders here as well. I think either Al or Shy got me into them. Anyway, much appreciated, because I haven’t heard a bad track yet from them either.
Whoa, Lenny Dee?! Cheezus, I haven’t played much of his stuff at all, but I still love the fuck out of his Industrial Fucking Strength compilations from like 20 years ago. Gabber’s definitely an acquired taste, but I acquired it fast and hard, much like gabber itself. Kinda difficult to listen to a full album of it, but it’s definitely great to get the blood pumpin’. Yo, I have no fucking idea who this Blaze artist is, or what language he’s spittin’, but it’s certainly not Ya Dead Homie. Of course, since Blaze is such a popular artist name, and since Spotify has not yet evolved to a point where they properly separate artists who share a name, there’s a massive catalog there. No idea how many different Blaze’s got lumped in there.
Anyway, another Landon Tewers track here. This time, a tender ballad, which is a great departure from the usual fare. I discovered him through Whipits and Cum Captain, both of which are now woefully absent from his Spotify. I guess he’s ashamed of those tracks now or something. Fair enough, but the dude is definitely interesting. I’ve heard him try out at least three different genres so far, and there’s probably even more I haven’t heard yet. Oh, and the live version of Serj Tankian’s song, “Baby,” I included that primarily because of the speech he gives prior to the song. It’s about love of music and the role of artists, and I whole-heartedly agree. The song’s great and all, but I typically don’t bother listening to live stuff ‘cause so much of it is poorly performed or mixed in one way or another.
Seems like it’s been quite a minute since I played a 生 Conform 死 song, but they’re another group from whom I’ve yet to hear a mediocre track. They’ve definitely got some unique flavor in their style. Shit, a µ-Ziq track too?! Holy fuckin’ lord, I don’t know if I’ve ever played µ-Ziq on this podcast, but I’ve known of him/them for ages. Another excellent IDM offering right there, so yojne if you can hang. Finally (because I’ve seriously gotta wrap this shit the fuck up already), that Michael Franti track at the end makes me feel like the sun’s shining out my asshole, and I’m not even mad about it. Kinda basic, kinda poppy, but I’ve loved all the other Michael Franti stuff I’ve heard, and this one has an important message in it that ought to be delivered regularly to one and all who continue to suffer through this late-stage capitalist hellscape we call a country.
Any-mother-fuckin’-way, that is all. I’m cuttin’ myself off right here, ‘cause I’d like to get to bed at some point before I collapse at the fuckin’ keyboard. Believe me, I could go so much further on and on, but for now, all I must beg of you is that you yojne.
