What the fuck is up?! Me, I suppose. Probably one of the few people on the East Coast awake and doing shit at 4 in the fucking morning on a Monday/Tuesday. Any-fuckin’-way, this week we have the Alphabet Shuffle Edition. This one’s pretty much exactly like the regular Shuffle Edition that I posted a while ago. I just added, “Alphabet,” to the title because of how I add a song or two or three from artists representing each letter of the alphabet. I have it all organized in alphabetical folders because at some point, I ran out of clever names for my music folders somewhere around Euphonious Maelstrom or something. It was getting pretty goddamn difficult to find specific albums/artists, lemme tell ya. Also, don’t go thinking that I cherry-picked these tracks… OK, I did cherry-pick some of them. Fuck you, ok? The Shuffle function doesn’t always yield gold, even to the most curious and dedicated of perverts. Anyway, for the most part, I did just load up a playlist for each letter and hit shuffle once. Well, shit in my cereal and call me the Dalai Lama, what a day I’ve had. If I had known that those were little turds raining down instead of water droplets, I probably would’ve made an executive decision to stay home and juggle my nuts. Any-fucking-way, what the fuck is up?! How fucking overdue are we for one of these editions, hmm?! Welcome, mother-daughter-sister-father-son-brother-cousin-stepcousin and grandparentfuckers to the Postbreakspeedbananavaginapoopcoresurfpolkaindiewaveextremedeluxegourmetstep Edition! Why am I making another one of these now? Because both Valentine’s Day and the Grammy’s happened recently, and music like this is both one of the main reasons I’m single and also completely fucking invisible to whomever decides which popular person gets to take home their golden trophy for other peoples’ contributions to their lives (aka, the Grammy’s). Should I elaborate? I think I should. Fuck you.
When I listen to music like this, the thought of a female listening to it with me is hilarious. Mostly because almost nobody besides me even knows of any of these artists, let alone is actually interested in what they do or actually enjoys it to the point that they’d put it on themselves without me. Mostly, I’m the one bringing the weirdest shit to the table. While I do enjoy a kind of didactic pleasure from that, I also get a strong sense of confusion and general irritation, much like that which would come from using the word, “didactic,” around pretty much anyone. Fortunately, I do know one or two people who are into this kind of shit. Unfortunately, they live across the fucking country, so hanging out doesn’t happen nearly as often as I’d like. But hey, I’m thankful to just know ONE other person who is into shit like this. I think it’s fucking brilliant, and it sucks that almost nobody else seems to agree. Boo-hoo. Poor me. Ah well.
As far as the Grammy’s aspect goes, man… Why the motherfuck does anyone give a fetid baby squirrel turd about the Grammy’s anymore? Haven’t we, as at least moderately evolved human beings, figured out that the Grammy’s is just another fucking popularity contest for rich people? Who the fuck cares who wins a stupid fucking golden trophy for any accomplishment? The accomplishments themselves are what matter most, and the quality of music is all subjective. Yet, we’re supposed to be enthralled by the vaguely unified opinions of total strangers about their definition of quality music? Fuck that fucking noise. The absolutely exquisite fucking aural sex you’ll hear in this podcast will NEVER win any Grammy’s. Ever. As far as I’m concerned, the farther away someone is from winning a Grammy, the better their music is likely to be.

Goooood evening/morning, my dearest deviants! Today we have the Silver and Gold Edition. Why? Because, much like that annoying little jingle about friendship that some of us learned when we were kids (I know, it’s in my head now too. Don’t worry, I know you love me. If not, just keep telling yourself you do until it becomes true. K? Awesome.), it’s important to listen to new music while also appreciating the stuff you’ve heard plenty of times before. I call it couch music. Stuff you’re comfortable with because you already know you like it. Stuff that won’t make you feel like you wasted a couple minutes of your precious fucking life listening to music you only kind of enjoy because you’re too goddamn chickenshit to open your fucking mind and expand your pathetically small horizons. Everyone loves their couch music, right? :)
That’s what all the Gold stuff is. Stuff I’ve played before on this podcast, and that I already know I love. The Silver stuff in this case happens to be mostly made up of tracks I came across… like… I just came across these tracks (giggity) while compiling R0b0t Pr0n v3.0. Think of it as the “deleted scenes,” of R0b0t Pr0n. This was stuff that I really liked, but that was either too slow or too fast to fit comfortably with the rest of the mix. Who knows, though? Maybe I’ll make a Chillout mix, or a Drum’n’Bass mix. I could definitely do both and much more, and I fully intend to, so keep those ears and eyes wide open for that shit. Any-fucking-way, I’ve yammered on enough for one intro. This first one might get a few laughs for who it is, but I actually really dig the song (for some totally inexplicable reason, haha). Perverts! Bet you thought I was gone again, eh? Nope. January was just an extraordinarily difficult month for me, between depression, extreme physical illness and putting R0b0t Pr0n 3 together, I just got overwhelmed. I’m back now, and goddammit, I’m ready to deliver some more fucktacularity to your eager ears. This week is the Blues and Jazz Edition, and lemme tell ya, I’ve toyed with the idea of doing one of these for a long time. I haven’t until now because I guess I felt like too much of a newcomer to the genres. Of course, I still have lots and lots to learn, but the average person knows even less than I do.
