What’s up, perverts?!  Are all you East coasters out there enjoying the snow like I am?  Hehe, anyway, welcome to the 18th fucktastically fucktacular edition of Miscellaneous Fucktacularity and the 16th album of the official 1,001 Albums list: Billie Holiday’s “Lady In Satin.”  If any of you are wondering how we got from the 9th album of my 1,001 list to the 16th of the official list in the span of a week, maybe you should open your fuckin’ eyes and ears a little wider ‘cause I’ve been posting albums from both lists every day since the last Monday WTF Aural Sex.  “Whaaaat?!  Holy fuck, I’m so behind!  How am I ever going to catch up?!  *sigh* I should just end it now, shouldn’t I?  What else do I have to live for now that I’m 14 albums behind?”  

Ssshhh… ssshhh… It’s ok, sweetie baby deary.  I’m sure you have something else to live for besides this silly little podcast and my silly little 1,001 Albums projects.  Masturbation, for example.  Why would you want to check out early, when you can give yourself orgasms pretty much whenever the fuck you want?  If you’re not that into masturbation, well… try again.  It’s like any other skill: it takes practice to get really good.

Anyway, yeah, Billie Holiday.  If you’re unfamiliar with her work, prepare your eager fuckin’ earholes for a really good time.  Honestly, I can’t imagine her having made a bad album.  I haven’t heard them all yet, but what I have heard is fuckin’ beautiful.  Like I told my Koala a day or two ago, Billie Holiday is most likely an inspiration for singers like Beth Gibbons of Portishead, Free Dominguez of Kidneythieves, Lana Del Rey, etc.  Pretty much any soulful female singer owes it to herself to pay tribute to Billie Holiday.
